I am typing a report and spelled it discectomy; however I looked at a sample for this account and it is spelled diskectomy. I thought it was discectomy. I looked in Stedman's and diskectomy is not listed. I also checked stedman's online and it does not find it.
discectomy or diskectomy?
Subject: discectomy or diskectomy?
I have always been told it was discectomy with a c and not a k, disc and not disk, etc. Got a note from QA saying it was disk with a k and not a c. Have I been doing this wrong for over 10 years??!!
Thanks for any info!
