Is there such a medication as Combigent that is used for glaucoma?  I'm pretty sure she is not saying combivent as it specifically says "Combigent drops for glaucoma".  I can't seem to find anything regarding this though.  Thanks.

Subject: PT/Rehab uses the term scaption frequently..sm

scaption means abduction (raising the arm away from the body) in the scapular plane. Not a documented word, but worked for a PT and PM&R physiatrist for years who used this terms. Maybe this dictator is botching this word and saying "scapitation" with the same meaning intended??

Subject: Is your patient a male? There are male sounds and female sounds. sm

Male sounds are shaped differently than female sounds. Obviously, male sounds being longer. They are used to dilate the urethra in order to facilitate the passage of stones or perhaps JJ stents etc. They come in different diameters ie..18FR, 20FR etc. Hope this helps.
