Orthopedic surgeon is doing I&D and wound exploration on a patient with a comminuted tibial fracture and his leg is all messed up. So, the doc says "Tom, Dick, and Harry are all intact." I figure he said this because he was too lazy to list off the various structures he was encountering but maybe he was referring to some specific anatomy?

Given the clinical judgement the patient has not suffered an MI, we will currently not start the patient on s/l champ medicines, consisting of a beta blocker, an ACE inhibitor, Lipitor, aspirin or heparin.

GROUP B STREP IN DIAGNOSIS
I'm confused on group B strep in a diagnosis. My research tells me that group B and group beta strep are interchangeable; however, on a recent audit I was counted off because I typed group beta Streptococcus in the diagnosis. Was corrected that it should be: group B Streptococcus. Anybody know which is correct? Thank you!
