Conjunctions

Subject: Conjunctions

With, and, but, yet, for... all conjunctions. No comma necessary before these words as they take the place of a comma. Status means "the condition of" or simply "with." Decreasing performance status nausea, diarrhea, etc. would not need a commma. If doc left out the word "status" such as, Decreasing performance, nausea, diarrhea, etc. then you would need the comma. Old school puts a comma. Newer rules say no. :-)
