Subject: Personal opinion but I believe it is distal as in determination (i.e. the dorsalis pedis artery pulse can be palpated readily lateral to the extensor hallucis longus tendon on the dorsal surface of the foot, distal to the dorsal most prominence of the navicular bone which serves as a reliable landmark for palpation.)

?austregonim? at the posterior tibial tendon insertion.
Subject: ?austregonim? at the posterior tibial tendon insertion.
The ????? at the posterior tibial insertion certainly alters the pull of the posterior tibial tendon causing the functional pes planus deformity in his foot. He is unable to adequately lift his medial longitudinal arch throughout midstance, leading to this pain at the posterior tibial insertion, weakness at the posterior tibial insertion, as well as plantar fasciitis.
It is noted on X-ray.
