A chalazion is a slowly enlarging nodule on the eyelid formed by inflammation of the meibomian glands (deep chalazion) or Zeis sebaceous glands (superficial chalazion). Chalazia are often recurrent.

if MD meant *pleural* - wouldn't have said *a*....it's *a chalazion* if he/she wants the *a* in there prior to the word in question
