Hi, sorry for getting back to you so late – had way too much editing today! Yes, there are numerous instances, especially on bronchoscopic biopsy, in which friable tissue, atheroma and/or clot can be encountered affixed or near the "fibrous" tissue. I really hope that's what is being said. Let me know if I am wrong. ;-)
