I came across this one the other day and finally found it. I had only heard verapamil until then, never a brand name!
Can it be split to be verapamil 240 mg SA, or must it go together verapamil SA 240 mg?

I keep getting certain meds which are either sustained or extended-release, which of course have generics. One I keep getting is Verapamil SR, but all I've found is Calan-SR I realize the pharmacist will know how to handle it, but I'm just wondering how y'all type this stuff. It seems like everything is going "extended/sustained" release nowadays.
Of course, since basically everything is verbatim, that's another thing I would appreciate how others handle these types of things.
