Subject: Bennett's Dementia?
I have an ESL who sounds like he's saying "a nursing home patient with Bennett's dementia..." Has anybody heard of this? I haven't been able to find anything similar, and previous reports say the patient has Alzheimer's.
Thanks!!

Bennett’s fracture is a fracture dislocation at the base of the thumb. A fracture dislocation of the thumb is not uncommon in boxers, rugby players, American football players and football goalkeepers. Specifically, a Bennett's Fracture refers to a fracture of the Metacarpal (thumb) bone at the joint surface with the Carpal (wrist) bones. Due to the position of the fracture fragment, there is some dislocation of the joint.

He has been taking "glycopilate" for his drooling problems but his wife states that things are getting quite a bit worse. He has started coughing frequently at times. He is now taking 2 mg of "romanol" at a time without significant improvement.
