LVES---> left ventricular end-systolic
LVS---> left ventricular strain
(both according to Stedman's Cardiology and Pulmonary words)

Does anyone know where I can get in depth info about this? I have a cardiologist that it very hard to understand and since I'm not that specialized in cardiology myself, I am having to leave a lot of blanks because I don't know if like LVS of 53%, etc is correct because I can't tell if she is saying LVES or LVS and cannot find either! This is just one example! TIA
