Subject: one never puts post together when status is....

Sorry, I cannot help you with the atouche thing but I saw you put

status postbilateral......

As I know it, we put post together with the next word only if STATUS does not precede post....

postmastectomy would be correct but status postmastectomy would be incorrect....s/b status post mastectomy in the latter case.  *S*

QA puts in "EF cardiac profile"
Subject: QA puts in "EF cardiac profile"

but it sure sounds like "ES" Cardiac Profile. I cannot locate it EF or ES when doing research as the way it is dictated.  dictator goes on to give lab values such as white count, bun and creatinine and so on. Any suggestions would be very grateful. BTW, even with my new Bose headsets the "ES" is coming in more clearly than it did before!!  TIA.
That's the only thing that makes sense, but he puts an emphasis on the "a". But that must

GTTP level?
Subject: GTTP level?

The doctor states the patient's GTTP level was either 46 or 446.  It's hard to tell if she made a mistake and stuttered or if it is 446.  I have no idea what the average range would be for this (either in the 40's or the 400's).  Also, does anyone know what GTTP stands for?

Thanks!

backup level of pain
Subject: backup level of pain

She describes her (s/l backup) level of pain as roughly 4/10, but it can rise a bit higher with overhead work use.

I don't really think backup works here. The doctor says it really fast.

Do you have any suggestions of what it could be instead?
