anatomically, they should be at the level of the fascia; they usually say "fascia" or "fascial ring" or "fascial collar" or perhaps even "fat"...can't think of anything that s/l point and it's definitely NOT bone...

The pathology did show a benign granuloma s/l dys or dis polyp in the midileal area removed.
ALSO:
There was also an area of focal submucosal s/l immural pigment from where she had had marking with her enteroscopy.
