The patient has a defect from her s/l "stand still", "standfield", "fan field" incicion due to a total abdominal hysterectomy.
Any ideas?? TIA

Laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy: Surgeon is entering peritoneum. She's opened the fascia, anchored it with Vicryl, attached CO2 and then she says something like "Lidopril" placed through. Pretty sure there are 3 syllables but she is swallowing the second half of the word. The "Lido" is fairly clear, but can't swear she isn't saying "Lighted". Anyone ever hear of lidocaine being placed with CO2 insufflation? After that, she placed 2 trocars and inspected the abdomen. Any idea what this is? I am stumped.

She has a very large, midline, abdominal __ __ incision extending up to the umbilicus from her last incision... and they will use this same incision...
This is sounds possibly like O'Brien, avrion or something along that line.
