They banned it, voted against it. The state of CA spoke but the gays are not happy with that and have to march. They will push and push till they get their way. Whether it is against God or not. what a shame.

The moral majority is neither
all that moral, or the majority. Don't assume who the majority is until they cast their vote.
Good question.-and it ISNT fair. Notice how Obama
nm
she isnt the OP, I am
and how do you know that it is a lie? Besides that article did not say that he IS just like Hitler. The man was comparing some of Os ideas to that of some of Hitlers programs that he started up upon gaining power. And there is NO lie in that. It is just like the bailout, these are socialists principles, the gov buying stock in banks and owning some of our major corporations, is this a lie too?
Someone is looking ridiculous and it isnt me
Face to face? What is this a threat, LOL? Sweetie, I would tell you face to face any day what my ideology is, what my priorities are and whatever else you deem is necessary to discuss with me. You wouldnt **let** me call you sweetie face to face? I think you truly need to step back and take a deep breath..You are looking ridiculous.
Isnt that just nauseating? SM
These people who support McCAin and his whacko side show Palin just make me so ill. Its like they just crawled out of their backwoods society to make an appearance because for once in their life they have something brought to the table that you dont even need smarts to talk about... Racism. It doesn't take a genius to be a racist.... These people are so shallow and closed minded. Racism to me is nauseating. It is something I just cannot even stomach.... In the same way I cannot stomach Hitler.
And the whole issue of patriotism.... America is all about multiculture. Americans come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and ethnicity... YOu want to talk patriotism.... Then maybe you should support your "Native Americans." If you want patriotism, then look no further than the purebreed americans..... I mean if you are going to take it back to its roots. Otherwise, get used to the fact that we are not all the same and get off your high horse, you stupid old white folk!!!!
And if I have to hear one more time about how Obama is going to be "Taxing us" I could just scream. He wont be taxing me. I for sure do not make over 250K a year. And for people who are concerned about "businesses" being taxed and not able to hire people..... When was the last time you encountered a company that cared about their employees anyway... They have been taking advantage of their employees for years.... Cutting benefits, not keeping up with pay increases, outsources rather than hire you anyway.
Well enought ranting for me.... All I can say is God Bless Obama!!!!! And if he doesn't win, we are all in for some deep doo-doo.
It isnt that simple. What you do is the same as
nm
too bad HE isnt president!
Why can't we see that this stimulus is going to bring us down?
Isnt the fall just great?
Isnt this time of the year great? My favorite holiday is Halloween. Cant wait! It has been in the 40's overnight this past week, so nice. Now if we just could have some rain.
Sad, isnt it? America did not become successful
nm
can you not read? My name isnt Chele
lets get it straight here before you start droning on and on.
Unemployment isnt even down to the Carter
nm
Isnt he terrible? I tried watching too and he comes
nm
He is a moral giant to me here. sm
It is not about who won or lost, it is about the integrity of the process. I think we need this after each and every election. The electronic machines need to go. I sure hope it is not a waste of time. If they did
rig it I am sure they had a plan B in case there was a recount.
Legal yes, moral no. n/m

He also spoke of h-e-ll
and the repercussions of not accepting him as Christ. He also flat out told the pharisees that they were going to h-e-ll for what they were doing. He didn't just preach love. He told people how it was. He warned us that there is a h-e-ll and people go there. You can't teach the good without the bad.
karma is a b___h, isnt it, Bush?
My parents were wise people and totally non predjudiced, non bigoted..They screwed up in many ways, but they did not pass judgment on the color of someones skin or how rich or poor someone was..and they taught me what goes around comes around..you put good into the world, you will get good back, you put bad, it will come back to you..I honesty have to say, at times it has been hard believing that cause it takes so darn long, IMO, for retribution to take place, for right to come around, however, in my life I have always seen the **bad ones** get theirs, over time it happens..karma works..I am now seeing karma once again. Bush for five and one half years has torn our country down, has divided it's people, has pushed away the world and in turn we have lost respect throughout the world, has waged a war on innocent people..he is getting his now, his karma has come..I sit back and watch it all and am thankful to the powers that be..
Oh geez..isnt that called *Heaven* ?
Oh geez, me neither, Libby, me neither..but probably not in my life time.
At least she isnt fighting the court by refusing
nm
No "witchhunt", just truth. Disturbing, isnt it?
nm
Then how come so many are being found out? What was that again about moral values? nm
:
and there's the moral superiority sermon for the day
Thinks they know more than about Israel than a Israeli. BTW, Liberal nobody on the C-board sicked this person on you. The only thing I believe they referred to the C-board about was reading a post there. So before you are so presumptious about that I suggest you get your facts straight and quit seeing everything in your world as conspiracy.
Moral Treason: Who's guilty?
President Theodore Roosevelt, 1918: To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.
Senator Robert A. Taft (also known as Mr. Republican), 1941 (after Pearl Harbor): I believe that there can be no doubt that criticism in time of war is essential to the maintenance of any kind of democratic government..... Too many people desire to suppress criticism simply because they think it will give some comfort to the enemy.... If that comfort makes the enemy feel better for a few moments, they are welcome to it as far as I am concerned because the maintenance of the right of criticism in the long run will do the country more good than it will do the enemy, and it will prevent mistakes which might otherwise occur.
Oh, okay, McCain and Palin are not moral, but
nm
And if his moral compass was pointing sm
to true north, he would have declined representing those clients.
You can argue the difference between ethics and legal ethics till the chickens come to roost, but if this man would represent these kinds of clients and make thse kinds of oppositions, I don't think he is fit to be the second in command of the DOJ.
And there are doctors who want to do the right, moral thing.
They are the ones who care about patients and created the site where the links I posted are located.
Huckabee spoke about this the other day
He said a very astute financial guy with decades of eperience had noticed a very unusual trend in the market last week; that every day at the same time late in the day, the market would begin selling off huge volumes, just in time where it could not rebound and then this would start again the next day, with no rebound gain. He questioned economic terrorism then.
And it did make us wonder then if this thing was being manipulated. When the government over the weekend began singing how they were going to put money in the banks that was a big sign for me that there may be something to the suspicions. This gave governments an exception to buy into banks, thereby starting the ball of socialism. Government should never ever be involved in banks like this.
I don't think for a moment this has anything to do with not paying China off because China has been hacking into the World Trade Bank in Europe for over a year.... a year! And their people can't keep them out. So, that tells me China has been involved in this manipulation for a long time. They managed to get very private financial documents with loan information and procurements on them that would allow them to really manipulation behind the scenes with all that information they have.
I don't doubt China has EVERYTHING to do with this. But if we keep buying more of their junk and refuse to buy anything but their junk, then we have no one to blame but ourselves. We should start demanding our government NOT import any more goods from China and that our companies going over there to save taxes be given tax exemptions ONLY if they bring all their business back to this country.
When I was growing up, my great aunts always said keep us out of the United Nations and don't do business with communist countries or we would regret it one day. They were right!
Obama spoke himself about
x
The people spoke
The Supreme Court over-ruled their decision. They were given another opportunity to make their voices heard and rejected the legality of gay marriage a second time.
This is the democratic process at work: the majority rules. Funny how quickly that goes by the wayside when the liberal shoe is on the other foot.
Isnt it pitiful? Talk about stolen election!. I am in
nm
I agree Lilly, especially about the moral decline...
Child molestation is on the top of the list for moral decline.
What kind of moral teaching she had as a child is no
reflection of whether or not she has a child out of wedlock. My 18-year-old niece was raised in church, had good Christian parents and got pregnant before marriage. You can only teach a child. You can't force him or her to live by your own convictions.
It just seems to me to be wrong on a basic moral level....
Christianity aside...that the power of life and death be given to one individual over another. Any OTHER time than abortion that is murder, not negotiable. Yet for the most innocent among us, the most vulnerable, in the eyes of some it is fine for one human being to decide to terminate the life of another on the basis of choice...and inconvenience.
I do not believe Obama sits around and thinks about how many babies will die every day (to the tune of over a million a year...!). I don't think he thinks about it much at all. How lucky for him his mother chose life.
I didn't say it was correct, legal, or moral.
And the WMDs didn't have anything to do with it, although you'll never convince me that Sadaam didn't have the capability for such - he'd used them in the past to kill hundreds of thousands of his own people.
Correct, legal, moral or whatever, if you're in line with a terrorist group, like many sent to these places were, then you have no rights. Plain and simple.
I just feel that we've gotten too far from 9/11 and remembering what that day was like and all those people killed. It seems like now we care more about the "rights" of those involved in terrorist activites than those innocent people who died that day. Maybe that's why we're such an easy target.
I'm glad you spoke your mind.
You've got more guts than I do. They would have definitely gotten a dirty look from me, but I wouldn't have had the courage to say what I felt.
I hope they weren't able to "snare" too many impressionable young people with false promises and other lies.
Did you hear that they're even telling would-be recruits how to pass drug screen tests so that they can still get into the military even if they're on drugs? I don't think there's anything they WON'T do or say to meet recruitment quotas.
seems to me thousands spoke this weekend
Seems to me most of the country takes Cindy Sheehan seriously and are behind her 100%. This weekends protests in DC, CA, NY, Ohio and other states prove it..When you look at the anti war protests compared to the pro war protests, tells you what the majority of the country wants..ending of the Iraq war.
A Kaydie clone just spoke!
nm
someplace where they spoke English
x
The mayor of Chicago also spoke this...sm
morning explaining the need for city employee layoffs.
The people spoke with their vote.
Changes should happen slowly to ensure we really want those changes to be put into place and to give time for any and all actions to be ordered.
It was voted on. It was a legitimate vote.
I think it sends a clear message that everyone is not ready for this type of change yet.
It's our (those who support Prop 8) country, too.
Well, if they spoke, that means I drop
everything and bow to people who do not have the last word on what the administration does.
You take the moral high ground and watch video
nm
I so agree! And even if it was not a moral issue, what about the medical issues (sm)
that can arise? How dare someone even think of performing any procedure my child without my permission unless it is a medical emergency?
I understand the moral stance, but feel the rhetoric is over-the-top.....sm
This man is NOT pro-abortion, as many of us are not. He is preserving the right of choice for ALL women, and does not believe that a poor woman who has undergone a rape, incest, domestic violince/intimidation situation, or even has just accidentally gotten pregnant with a child she cannot carry for medical, emotional, or financial reasons....I hate abortion also, but if Americans are to be equal, then a poor woman needs to have resources available to her which would be available to others, or you are damning her to the back-alley abortionists. That is reality. I, Myself, married 18 years, vigilantly spacing my children and on birth control, came up with an unexpected, very difficult pregnancy. Yes, we made the choice to love and take this baby into the world, but we also had SOME resources and family, some girls do not.
There are not many folk who are PRO ABORTION, but preserving the individual choice, though abhorrent to many of us, is part of true liberty. And God Himself will judge as appropriate.
And I do feel that those few who use abortion as a means of birth control, well there should be restrictions and a definite "no."
From the way Fitzgerald spoke in the press conference...sm
S. Libby has A LOT to be worried about. It seems he's a bald face liar, and I think what would be interesting to find out is why would he lie and say he didn't even know who Plame was under oath having been briefed on her at least 4 times before coming to court. I smell smoke...
Exactly. After Galloway spoke out they tied him to al Qaeda. sm
Of course, the man must be a terrorist sympathizer because he has the guts to tell it like it is. Just like they call you an antisemite when you say anything about Israel, conspiracy theorist and nut bag, etc., if you speak out against Bush. See the pattern?
McCain has spoke ad nauseam about Keating 5
Get over it already!
The corrupt ACORN bunch are still at it and Obama is backing them every inch of the way. They are his push into office don't ya know?
You're going to be blasted..you spoke against Obama
sad but true
Um no, Palin spoke and did herself in.... didn't you hear her? sm
No media, even intelligent media, could make up what she said. She said ignorant statements out of her own mouth, rallying the crowds and saying Obama pals around with terrorists. She ruined any chances McGeezer had, not that he had much of a chance but you MUST know that she has hurt the republican party, except for the most ignorant of them.
Isn't the party line "good christian moral values" or something like that? sm
If they are going to espouse all that good moral values stuff, the least they could do would be to acknowledge it in their own loves. The GOP won the election (supposedly) on the stand that they would bring back all that good value bullcrap to government. So, I guess we're seeing it now, huh?
Color me blind but name a case in which a republican spoke out...sm
and liberals started calling and threatening his life. I'm sure it happens but can you think of a case right off hand?
BTW, if you post it on the conservative board I'll read it there.
Bill Ayers spoke at Millersville University in PA
Yesterday. This is a college that prepares students for teaching jobs. You can see part of his speech here:
