I don't even pretend to know if all this has been right, but I think he was who we needed him to be 9/11. It seems as if everyone thinks the war is wrong, so just pick up your toys and go home and that is not even feasible. It also seems that when he came up with the incentive checks, the dems were the loudest outspoken bunch I ever heard, but when obama says it, then it's okay. Seems like a double standard or something to me. I think history may be kinder to him than we are currently. I also think there is a lot of mean spirited ridicule that I never applied to the clintons or other officials I did not like, but then society seems to have changed and we wonder why our kids turn into dog packs at school. I suspect bush has a speech impediment or ADD or dyslexia or something. and smooth talkers don't necessarily impress me anyway, too many had nothing behind the smooth tones and honeyed words.
