Just a few examples of people who've done pretty well with little or no schooling, or perhaps dropped out of school:

George Washington
Abraham Lincoln
Ben Franklin
Albert Einstein
Florence Nightingale
Syndney Poitier
William Shakespeare
The Wright Brothers

And all four of my grandparents, intelligent, hard working people who made a new life for their families in the US.

And I'm sure there are many people who finished at the top of their class but never managed to amount to much.

Famous people have just as much right
as anyone else, even MTs. Yes, they get more coverage than the average person when they voice an opinion, but so what? If you don't care what they have to say, just don't listen. Just like if MTs don't care what other MTs have to say about politics they don't read this forum.
