The problem with unions was they just got too darned big and corrupt. The union organizers forgot the principles they were supposed to be working for and just started becoming greedy. Those union heads were making money hand over fist and not playing nice. Union politics got dirty and unions got ruined. The rank and file lost confidence in them.
