No, not deranged, compassionate. These people have no homes, they have been without food, water, showers. Who knows what the future is for them. Now they even have to leave their dogs, cant take them on the buses..for pete sake, they have lost everything. I dont lump people into good or bad. I dont think concretely. I look over the whole situation and decide and in this situation, I can understand the frustration, fear and actually not caring any more for their lives, no hope. When you have absolutely nothing and are being treated like animals, deprived of everything that makes a human a person, sometimes you will do strange things. I just hope the citizens of New Orleans get it under control because I would hate to see blood shed over this whole sorry situation. You must also look at New Orleans before the disaster. Did we hear of riots? I have visited New Orleans twice and was treated very well. It was a lovely city with super nice people. They are not thugs, they are a lost people with nothing, they are American refugees.
