The prior presidents had a degree of respect for the outgoing president and held their press conferences, etc., until they were actually sworn in. Clinton was actually quite late in putting his cabinet together after his election. In all my years of watching presidential elections, I have never seen audacity like Obama is displaying. Maybe that is what he means by "the Audacity of Hope."
