I think this "O lover/worshiper stuff
comes from little chicks who aren't dry behind the ears yet. I think the rabid Republicans are far more vocal than the avowed Democrats. The person who called me "stupid" above makes me laugh. A couple of things I've heard in the past few days although I haven't taken time to really research what is going on..........Caroline Kennedy to take Hillary's senate seat??? Chelsea Clinton taking the seat?? and....horror of horrors, out of Bush's own mouth, the possibility of his brother Jeb being elected to the senate. I would say I am an equal opportunity politician hater.........Democrat or Republican. We do not need Caroline riding into office on her legendary name and as for the Clintons and Bushes...well, I've had a belly full of both of those names. "Obama" is a welcome change of name although I am not happy with all the Clintonites he is appointing and I suspect he's affiliated with the politics of the Clintons and Kennedys.....maybe even with the Bushes.
How anyone can defend the Bush administration is far beyond me. I heard D*ck Cheney tonight, from his own mouth, when it was stated by a news talk show host that 2/3 of the American thought the Iraq war was wrong. He gave his EVIL grin and said "so?" Ain't that special!!!!! That is exactly what we've had for the past 8 years from this administration and the last 2 years of the Democrat led Congress....."this is what the people want....." and they say "SO?????" One would think that it's about time we have a change in leadership. But then I guess some would consider that though to be "stupid."

We are talking about the president speaking at a christian school. He knew where he was at. Christian schools are going to have religious symbols. It is a part of their school. Frankly, as a christian school, if I had to hide any religious symbols just to get a speaker, I wouldn't have that speaker whether it was the pres or anyone else.

Muslim killings are an every day happening overseas but in this country they are growing by leaps and bounds and yet they get very little news following. It gets hushed very quickly. WHy is that? Name one person who has been killed because of Beck. Just did a search, haven't found one. Sure he may be a bit "animated" - the gas can incident was a good example to show people what is happening. You just don't agree with what he says. But he is the only one out there who is telling us the truth and telling it like it is. I for one have been listening to him and he has a good show. If it wasn't for Beck I wouldn't have known about this administration cutting back the death benefits for the families of slain police officers in the line of duty, yet at the same time this administration is spending over $300K to research gay bars in Argentina to find out why gays get drunk and participate in that behavior. There is so much we don't know in this country but at least Beck is informing the people. If you don't like him don't listen. But please spare us with the lies of "people have died because of him".

Socialist societies have never prospered. Never. Socialism remains a failed experiment. Capitalism was implemented in West Germany and West Berlin following World War II. West Germany and West Berlin prospered and living standards became much better. Socialism was implemented in East Germany and East Berlin following World War II. East Germany and East Berlin stagnated and living standards deteriorated. The split turned German into an experiment that could be observed, studied, and used to show the differences of how capitalism and socialism affect a country. This is a matter of fact. Fred Thompson was incredible last PM. I suppose I'll have to dig that one out for those who think the news is on the drive-by channels like these.
That's certainly not to diminish Joe Lieberman's speech. Even when he was running for VP, the GOP wouldn't go "after him," only challenge the issues. He's a perfect example of a liberal who puts country before party. Frankly, it's impossible to dislike the man, regardless of what side he's on.

I would have loved to hear the crap spewed by BOTH but let's face it. If the O wins and any of his dem affiliates and everything is democratic, there goes the checks and balances; i.e., they can put through any law with smooth sailing and nary a person can undermine it.

If the O wants to tax people that earn $1,000 a year (just a supposition), it will be done. If the O wants to tax us to death on health care, it will be done. If he wants us to rely on the government for our income, it will be done.

Obama's programs are inclusive and designed for those who choose to participate for the good of the country, to bring us closer together. By your logic, Palestinians are in charge (yeah, right). That's the only way they could possibly be occupiers. When was the last time they blockaded Israel's food, medicine, fuel and money? Point to the place on the map where they have "expanded" their settlements, especially in light of the fact that the majority of them live in refugee camps. Israelis have not right to return? Return from which diaspora? They are there, or not, by choice, not by force. There is a difference. Palestinians try to tear down the wall, not construct it.
Since when do they have the power to imposed ANYTHING on the Israelis, let alone a police state. This current so-called retaliation is in response to the expiration of a cease fire, not renewed by Hamas because Israel did not live up to its own bargain and refused to lift the blockade. Palestinians invaded what part of Israel? When? Remember, they are the ones living on the ever-shrinking, splintering geography. Israelis think nothing of plundering even the most basic of resources, and scarce at that....water. Just another routine starvation tactic as they swim in their pools. Again, consult the disproportionate fatality statistics on fatalities and injuries. No matter how hard you protest, you cannot turn your lies into truth.
More pregnant women should be informed of this.
When I had my son, we donated his cord blood and it was all done for free. When I had my daughter four years later (and at a different hospital), we were told that we could store the cord blood, but not donate, and of course, storing means paying (way too much), so we didn't do it then. I probably should have done more checking around to see where we could have donated.
That one, I'm all for - if they could use that to find a cure for or treat cancer, MD, or anything else, imagine how fabulous that would be!!!

Obama has devoted his entire life to helping people. This idea of how he is for abortions (torturing of innoicent babies) telling people they need to leave them sitting on a bare table to rot in the same room as some filthy toilet is pure GARBAGE!
Obama is for helping people in the community, the less fortunate, the needy, the hungry, the unemployed, the children, the education system, the elderly, etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. To spread this type of smear is about as low as the republicans can go.

this is not about whether Obama has ever appointed a SC justice. This is about Obaman's PROVEN stance on the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. This is about the FACT that he squelched the bill in Illinois when he, as head of the Health and Human Services Committee, had every opportunity to push this bill through. This is about the FACT that he contradicted himself when he said he "would have voted for it" in Washington (had he been a Senator at the time). As far as Palin...you really need to focus here. Yes, she did a windfall profits task. And yes, she distributed it to the Alaskan people. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, rich and poor alike, every single citizen of Alaska. That is NOT redistribution of wealth. See the difference? And it is not taking from the tax coffers that everyone in Alaska paid into...which is what Obama is going to do. He is going to tax small businesses and the so-called rich (the threshold for which gets smaller every day) and redistribute that to 95% of people...40% of whom don't even pay federal income tax.
