Or do you think there are not extremists among the pro-life movement? (And before you start your usual rebuttal, I am not an Obama supporter, and no, I don't think all pro-lifers are extremists.)

Calm down.
You can't expect to come and attack people who haven't attacked you and then expect respect. Oh, wait a minute that's the neoconservative way (I-R-A-Q).

Scroll down to the third entry with Sarah's picture. Just curious, because the exact same nonsense in the exact same words appears there.
The Sahih-Bukhari is not part of the Quran. It is one of 6 Hadith collections that represent word-of-mouth (oral) histories of the life of the Prophet Muhammad. As such, the Hadith has been subjected to interpretation and is not the same as the Quran. The verse you cited deals with apostates...those who have directly denounced Islamic beliefs. Christian doctrine also chastises apostasy. Nothing new here.
The other passage you cite is the Opening. It is the core statement of belief. They pray to stay on the path of the righteous, not the ones who have angered God (sinners) or people who have strayed from the teaching. This refers to the PATH they aspire to follow as Muslims.
I fail to see any radical content here. Please enlighten me.
