don't know if this....

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of yrs ago.
I went to buy a new car, new to me at least, 2 yrs old, and I was going to be paying cash. I shopped around a bit and found one I liked at 2 different locations about 30 miles apart. One was a GM dealership with a used Toyota I wanted and the other was at the Toyota dealership in my town.
I went to the Toyota dealership and said I was paying cash and that the GM dealer 30 miles away had a car I was interested in and said he would make me a good deal. Naturally, I asked what kind of deal the Toyota dealer could make me on this used Toyota....He informed me in no uncertain terms that they made their real money by financing, not from customers paying with cash. He never cked this out with his sales director (or what ever they are called) or anyone else. Okay by me. I went to the other GM dealership and took my "new" car home with me that day.
Customer service has been going downhill in this country for a looong time now, and is just getting worse. How may times have you had someone talk on a cell phone while trying to ck your groceries or some other item (learned that you quickly get the manager)? Or you can be looking at an item to buy and can't get a salesperod to help and when you finally do, they act like they are doing you a huge favor by even talking to you. I'm really tired of it, tired of being treated like nothing by people who supposedly work for the public, myself included.
Glad I found this post. Thanks for letting me vent like this. I needed it, am better now.
Have a good wk-end all.
