but none of the people present did. You guys did the same spin on Wellstone's funeral. You totally ignore the fact that both Wellstone and the Kings would likely have totally agreed with and approved their respective events, and joined in themselves if possible. They were all public-minded and very politically oriented people.
And I know you believe all Kennedys have horns, but so far as I'm aware, Kennedy was not at the service, and even if he was, he was not a speaker there. So I'm not sure how you deduce he behaved badly at the service.
By prior comments though, it seemed you disapproved of everything to do with the service, including its length, its guests, the behavior of the audience, and the celebratory rather than dire tone of the whole affair. Did you disapprove of Mrs. King as well? I should hope not. But by all accounts the guests, the audience and the King family was greatly pleased with the service so it was obviously a great success and a fitting tribute. Have to nurse that discontent alone in the corner, I guess!
Oh, and how can we even compare the post-presidency public records of say, Gerald Ford or Richard Nixon or Ronald Reagan with that of Clinton or Carter? Hahaha!! Too funny. Sure, they're all rich, we can take that for granted! - but it's a great measure of character to look at whether they go home and relax and retire from public life altogether (Repubs except for GBI) or continue to devote their lives to public service (Dems). It's on the record, really can't argue about it.

GOP Budget Plan Fizzles Amid lack of Details, Infighting, Mockery

House Republicans today made a big show about how they were going to drop their own brand-new alternate budget proposal, packed with urban-suburban hip-hop "flava" and dance moves Eric Cantor learned at the Verizon Center, watching Britney Spears. As it turns out, READY THEY WERE NOT, and so everyone is making fun of them, and it.
