An ounce of common sense beats a pound of 'education' any day! 

A 22-year-old valley girl just out of college is 'educated'  but...um...you know...like...not very smart...and stuff?  I happen to know a couple and talking to them is like trying to have a discussion with a bran muffin  (but you get a lot less substance.) 

A DIPLOMA is what a college gives you four years of attendance.  An EDUCATION is what you spend the rest of your life giving to youself.
