If you took a second out of your I love Bush, and nobody else cloud, you would see that we do care about our soldiers, our countrymen. But, you're so full of the Bush Kool-Aid you can't see straight. It's not just liberals feeling this way about Bush and his war, the country is at a divide and more people support his impeachment than those who supported Clinton's impeachment that by the way republicans pursued on their own to defame the president in front of the world any all and any cost. Britain banned Winston Churchill and wouldn't let him speak in the house of parliamant, because he was speaking the truth about what Germany was doing to the Jewish people, and they didn't want to hear it! This whole thing started with Jacqui Smith..... because of ALL the violence in Muslim neighborhoods and all the Muslim leaders in Great Britain inciting hate and violence, she was to compile lists of Muslims who incite violence around the world with a call to jihad and make sure no more of these types of people can get into Great Britain. Well, they were on the right track there until of course politics got in there and someone convinced her they didn't want to seem to have a problem with Muslims, so they thought it best to throw in a couple of white guys so it wouldn't look so "profilish".
Speaking of hate-mongers, they have lots of muslims standing in their streets threatening violence to Britain and the United States, standing right in the streets of Great Britain big as you please incisting violence. Now that Britain has realized what a mistake it is to have them in their country and just what evil people they are, they are seeking to get them out and at the very least, keep anymore from getting in their country.

I am sick and tired of putting money in the hands of people who refuse to get off their butts. I do not want to pay for their many many children while they sit at home and wait for the Headstart bus to give their child curbside service so they can have a babysitter for their child all day long, while they do nothing to better themselves, even though they can go back to school during this time, get an education, H@LL FIRE, get a job. Most of these folks are within walking distances to a job but they don't want one because that would mean having to pay their own way in life. They have better than many members of my family who have actually worked their entire lives and haven't asked for a handout while they sit and watch neighbors living in HUD houses, tear them up, party all day and all night, children running rampant all over the place....it's sickening really.
When you see your paycheck dwindle to nothing, just know you can be proud in saying you contributed to the welfare roll.

I said there are blacks in my community that do NOT take advanatage of the opportunities afforded them. And, please, no kid around here is choosing to sell drugs to support their families. I was born very poor and I have better since than to sell drugs or steal.

There are plenty of poor white kids around here....I spend time in our schools and believe me, there are many poor kids of both colors. Crimes are committed by those of both races, but the greatest number are by blacks. If you don't like those numbers, too bad; those are the facts. You need to get yourself into one of our schools around here and ask some of the children what they want to be when they grow up......you would be shocked to hear the answers. You know, Minnesota and Wisconsin both prepared for several thousand evacuees and we were more or less turned down due to distance from Louisiana. In my home town a bunch of us offered long-term housing/jobs/resources/transportation for 100 folks but then were told we'd probably have no takers.
What I'm trying to say is that things are not always as portrayed, both by the left and the right and the in-between.

If you knew anyone with a small business and asked them what this would do for their pocketbook they would tell you their business would end up dying. Obama has very cleverly disguised to most who do not pay attentin and do not care that small businesses will NOT be harmed by his little cuts. Well, all the mandated policies that sound so great have to be paid for. Obama's idea of small business means any business bringing in 250K a year. Maybe you think that's a lot of money but it is nothing. That money has to pay for employees, expenses, workmen's comp, huge taxes already, the list goes on and on and many are hanging on by a thread as it is.
These same companies whom he sees to think will do just fine will be out of business. They will be mandated to death. They cannot afford paid medical leave while employing someone else to do their job and then what? If you knew anything about running a business with paid employees/benefits, etc., you would know Obama's plan has put a nail in their coffin.

I guess my point is, do you really think your reposting is changing anything political-wise when it comes to ideology and trying to open other's minds or understand the opposite political spectrum? The last time we had a democrat president most of my family, freinds, and freinds family WERE homeless. Lost their jobs, lost their homes, lived in their cars, went to the soup kitchens once a day for a meal. The last democrat president implemented NAFTA (not sure implemented is the right word - but was responsible for the start of our jobs going overseas). Continued the deficit (not a surplus like he conned everyone he did). So luckily Bush is not running again so no chance of us being homeless. McCain and Palin gives us experience, loyalty, and a fresh face and ideas for the country. Obama and Biden gives us inexperience, lies, and false hopes. I don't want to end up homeless and broke so therefore I will NOT be voting for Obama. Obama is more of the same except with different packaging.

The press conference was 4 days after he was elected. As for who he picking for his staff, he said as soon as he decides who will fill these positions, he will make an annoucement. I, too, am glad he apologized to Nancy Reagan. I knew as soon as I heard those words, there was going to be stuff said. Also, you can blame the press for the question about the dog -- he doesn't have control over questions like that. We need to be patient and not be so nitpicky over such small things. I can't even imagine the pressure he is under right now, not to mention exhausted, and he probably hasn't even had the chance to mourn his grandmother.

Well I just had a chance to listen
to this and you kinda misrepresented what he said. Surprise surprise.
He said he hated about 10 people out of the 3000 plus 911 victims' families who won't stop complaining, then he compared the people in New Orleans who were making it hard on everybody else there by not cooperating to those same type of people who are never satisfied no matter how much people are trying to help them.
I completely agree with everything he says on this. I never really felt sorry for the people in New Orleans who refused to leave when they knew way ahead of time that a disaster was looming.
