As much as I feel our court system really tries to do a good job I feel ultimately they are a victim of being run by humans. Just look at all the folks who were tried and convicted and turned out to be innocent due to overly vigilant prosecutors looking for political gain. I guess it's unavoidable. Look at the lack of convictions in the south during the Civil Rights era, i.e., the 4 civil rights workers murdered in Mississippi or Emmet Till's murderers going free for so many years. The wonderful thing is that if enough people speak up over time things CAN and WILL change. I see it being the same in politics......there is hope.
