Yep

If people immediately deluged the candidates with e-mails and messages denouncing the negative ads and demanding that issues be discussed, not personalities, the attack ads would stop.  Unfortunately, those ads work and it IS own our fault. This is a nation whose people can go no deeper than People magazine in their reading.
