The Quran says, "Surely those who have faith (in Islam) and the Jews and the Christians and the Sabaeans - whoever believes in God and the Last Day - their reward is with their Lord and they will neither fear nor grieve" (Quran 2:62 and 5:69).

That sounds pretty judgemental to me. ;-)
'
Yeah pretty much.
It would be a lot funnier if it wasn't so true. :-(
I wonder why Bush refuses to go after Bin Laden now, after all that **wanted, dead or alive** rhetoric he spouted. I seriously wonder if Bin Laden is on Bush's payroll.
Yeah, the double standard is pretty amazing. nm

Yeah, but my Candian friends are pretty happy with theirs
the sky is falling !!
She just keeps stooping 'cause
It takes a lib to know a lib. Libs back their candidate. They are not mad that Hillary didn't win. They had 2 dynamite candidates and since they believe in honest, fair, transparent elections void of fraud, manipulation and theft, they accept the results of their primaries and support their candidate and their party. They are united and determined that they will have only 4 more months, not 4 more years. They have nothing to be bitter about since their convention was marked by hope, light, excitement, vision, promise, went off without a hitch, was viewed by record-breaking numbers of viewers both in the stadium and in the TV audience and walked away from it energized and ready to take on the next phase of the campaign.
Now that JM has ticked off a large majority of Hillary supporters, democratic and independent women voters at large by his failed attempt at pandering to them and trying to pass off a woefully inexperienced NeoCon who is under investigation for ethics violations back in her home state, supports creationism over evolution, believes global warming is not man-made, has never given much thought to foreign policy, has voted against fair pay to women for equal work, etc., they feel that all they really need to do is to sit back and wait for JM to make another decision, watch the party self-destruct and keep on keeping on with the same track that, so far, has been working well for them.
They will continue to try to engage legitimate debate with the pubs, despite the hatchet jobs they repeatedly have tried on Obama and the fact that pub party people seem to run fast from issues and facts, when they cannot succeed in slamming them into the ground or denying them out of existence. They know how to distinguish between the grownups and the children. When Sam and choir hurl, they hurl back and they know very well that liberalism is a longstanding American tradition embodied by their vital and viable political party.
I'm so glad you put that 'cause s/m
I was saying that very same thing just tonight! What a better way to get what you want than to cry wolf and start shutting things down.
Not defending violent protesters, but for the 10,000 others

God. Someone McCain can relate to, 'cause
And? Some revolutions aren't violent....
remember the old take them over without firing a shot?
If you were really concerned, whch you obviously aren't...you can do the research and see what happens to socialist countries...they evolve into dictatorships and/or communism, and the middle class disappears...money at the very top, and that's it. The middle class and the lower class become the same. Yeah I know you think it can't happen here. I don't imagine the countries where it has happened thought it could happen there either.
Just 'cause you don't want to hear it doesn't

Hannity's violent revolution..(sm)

That's nice - 'cause we're all racist, right?
Get over yourself.
Murdering near-term babies isn't violent?

Report: 50% rise in violent hate groups
Southern Poverty Law Center: 50% rise in violent hate groups
David Edwards and Muriel Kane Published: Wednesday April 15, 2009
|
A new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which tracks the activities of violent hate groups in the United States, has found an alarming rise in the number of such groups, from 602 in 2000 to 926 in 2008.
This comes on the heels of a controversial report on "violent extremism" from the Department of Homeland Security, which has outraged many conservatives by seeming to lump them in with extremists.
Morris Dees, the founder of the SPLC, told CBS's Harry Smith on Wednesday that he believes the two reports do "synch up pretty much" and that "the report from the Department of Homeland Security should be taken very seriously."
However, the SPLC's own report focuses very narrowly on groups which actively preach violence, including neo-Nazis, the Ku Klux Klan, and the "racist skinhead subculture." It also notes the surprising rise of "anti-Semitic black separatists calling for death to Jews on bustling street corners in several East Coast cities."
"A key 2008 hate group trend was the increasing militancy of the extremist fringe of the Hebrew Israelite movement," the report states, "whose adherents believe that Jews are creatures of the devil and that whites deserve death or slavery. These radical black supremacists have no love for Barack Obama, calling him a 'house nigger' and a puppet of Israel. They preach to inner-city blacks that evil Jews are solely responsible for the recession."
Dees told Smith, "The political climate, the election of Obama, the immigration issues ... and now, especially, the economy is almost causing a resurgence of what we saw in the days of Timothy McVeigh, almost a militia movement that's being reborn. ... I think that an American person is much more likely to be harmed by a domestic terrorist extremist group than by one from abroad."
Dees also emphasized that many extremist groups are recruiting Iraq veterans and even active-duty members of the military because of their expertise with arms and explosives. "It's a serious issue," he stated, "especially with a lot of these guys coming back with post-traumatic stress syndrome, coming back to a failing economy, the inability to buy a home and get a job and get credit."

We KILL violent criminals; apparently some think unborn children are the
criminals as they are murdered as well.
Sad.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You've said before that you're leaving, but you and your goons can't sta
yeah, yeah, yeah.....what he failed to mention...
is that the Dems are responsible for the mortgage meltdown which is responsible for the wall street meltdown. Chris Dodd, Barney Frank...totally to blame. Blocked every attemmpt by Bush Admin and yes, McCain, to regulate fannie/freddie. Dems certainly have selective memories...convenient bouts of amnesia. lol.
Oh, yeah yeah, whatever. There's plenty of satan here, that is for sure!
Yeah, yeah, everything is funny. Wont

Oh gee...that sounds like too much
thinking to have to do...... To think for yourself and not follow like lost sheep.... gee whiz.
sounds like we now have
scientific proof of putting lipstick on a pig!! Great experiement.
It sounds like
you are not endorsing Barack Obama.
It just sounds like to me that she
lives in the neighborhood that she prefers, so that she can be her might self-righteous self.
Sounds like us and more soon when (NM)

sounds like
sedition to me.
Sounds like someone needs to look
a little deeper into history. FDR actually prolonged the duration of the great depression with his government programs. Get a clue! Stimulus package is a BAD idea and will not work!!!!!
It sounds as though you do not want our
Congresspeople not to listen to the people's voices, I cannot believe that! I am a Democrat. I thought that is why we held elections. Look at the national polls, the numbers are dropping every day, but the last I heard it was like 37% of Americans in favor of passing this stimulus bill. And you are proud these calls are being ignored? This is a perfect example of downright IGNORANCE!
Sounds like someone
needs to go put their nose in the corner or sit in the time out chair. Wow.
Sounds sensible enough, but I wonder...
...would you have the same discussion with them about sniffing glue? Snorting coke? Smoking "Smarties" (the newest thing)? Drinking Drano?
If you're going to disappoint me, break the law and do something harmful to your body, I'd rather you do it at home.
Sorry - I can't get a handle on that one. It's a "helpless parent" position that amounts to parental malfeasance, IMHO. I'm sorry to put it in such stark terms and I realize that I'm going to be in the minority on this one.
Sounds like they are trying........... sm
to do damage control in order to keep their Fortune "Most Admired" status.
It sounds to me as if you need to go to
your personal prayer closet and find your peace. You cannot say how you would react if one of your children came and told you he/she was homosexual.
Just to stay on topic, I am of a firm conviction and do agree with you that this is not a subject to be taught in public schools.
Yeah, yeah, yeah....still protesting too much. (nm)

I have lost all credibility with you? Yippee!! Yehhaaww!! Right on!! I cant think of another hateful annoying prehistoric thinking person I would rather lose credibility with than you! **BIG HUG**
Lol, welcome back. Sounds like you had fun.nm

Sounds like they are on the ball...sm
This is something that conservatives preach about, citizens have the ability to change the country not government, so you would think Ann would embrace this movement. There is no doubt in my mind that if these widows raised these issues while a Democrat was sitting as president Coulter would be praising them.
The idea here is to get OUR house in order before we go clean out someone elses.
Sounds like you have compassion for everyone!
xx
Sounds good to me
I have been ignoring Observer for a few days and it feels great. No need to respond to Observer, I post for my fellow Democrats/liberals and read posts from them. If I wanted to be questioned and **educated** in conservative ways, I would frequent the conservative board.
Sounds like she is just reaching ...
nm
Sounds like you are referring to a
certain group of people. Correct me if I have misunderstood. Who are you talking about? The vast majority of conservatives who believe the Bible is divinely inspired support the Constitution and don't want it meddled with. Your observation truly has me confused.
Sounds like that's exactly what you're trying to do
Grow up. Obama has nothing to brag on in that regard, either.
sounds like jealousy
you may say otherwise but reading your post you can see it. Jealousy plain and simple!
Sounds like he is just showing how
much of a pig he really is.
Sounds a bit selfish to me.....nm

sounds rather redundant to me.. ...sm
I must not have a sense of humor this morning.
Do you have another e-mail regarding how everything he touched all day long was stamped "made in China" or Taiwan, or Korea, etc.? Now that's scary, and not a good joke at all.....don't say it's the republicans that made that happen, either...I blame them both parties on that one....more's the pity.
Sounds to me as if you or your family
would never vote for him anyway. I am from a small town in PA, born, bred and live in a small town, and I and my DH have no qualms with any of the so-called elitist statement, and as I said before, as I see it and hear it, he is right! Some people are just too stupid or too bigoted to vote for their best interests, period, and that is the truth. It is incredible to come through 8 years of the worst government this nation has ever seen, in the middle of a financial crisis that is being compared to the Great Depression, to vote for and give those people at least 4 more years that have brought this country to its knees, in one war that was unnecessary, that cast aside the constitution, torture, and all the other horrendous wrongdoings of the Bush administration, to allow race or a few misspoken words stop from electing a good man, an intelligent man, well, that is just stupidity or bigotry any way you slice it. BTW, I am a 54-year-old white woman.... And I know there are more out there just like me who will vote for this man.. Be he elitist or be he a black radical or whatever slur you would throw at him, I will bet that he will be our next president, and Good Lord I hope so!! As I read through your writings here, seems to me you have not even stopped to think about how much this man has gone through to get where he is...as a black man, it could not have been easy for him, but he did, and he is, and I say more power to him. All you can do is slur and impune him, give him no benefit of the doubt, or even think through what another 4 years of Republican rule will do to our country or your own quality of life. You like to repeat the things they say on rightwing radio/TV, which are hateful and downright mean, and you have to be of a certain mindset to even listen to it. I listen to Limbaugh, I watch Faux News, but I can't do so for very long because to me they are nothing but evil. If you want to get religious, they are not very Christian-like, not if Christian means followers of Christ. All I hear from them is a lot of liese, hate and hypocrisy.
It sounds like YOU are the JEALOUS one!
See green much? Enough said.
yes, exactly the same. It all sounds ridiculous to me
but people better start paying attention to the issues and stop with the emotions already. break it down, what is each candidate offering ME and my children. We are left to figure out the honesty from the lies but we should all step back and pay close attention to what is happening here.
I as an independent have been questioning motives - and I do not like being used.
