are equal rights. Heterosexual couples who just live together still have the option of being married. Gays and lesbians don't. Personally, I don't care if you call it marriage, civil union or whatever, but whatever it is called, they should be allowed to have the same benefits allowed by marriage....see post about *marriage is more than just a label.*
