"Not all abortions are a form of birth control, ya' know. I knew a very religious lady that aborted her child due to hydrocephalus. The child would been born deformed/a vegetable. This would have put this lady at high risk. She prayed about it and soon after aborted the child. She had to live with that."

Aborted a child due to hydrocephalus? Why? I found out my daughter had hydrocephalus before she was born. Of course, I wouldn't have chosen abortion for myself anyway, but my daughter with hydrocephalus is now 8 years old, goes to regular school, gets good grades, rides a bike, is a great artist, and has no visible or apparent signs of having the condition. Her ventricles were very dilated and large and she had a pretty severe case of hydrocephalus. She had surgery to place a shunt right away, and today she's a normal girl today, excited about being Jasmine for Halloween tomorrow night.

Just had to get that out there, for anyone who read that little blurb about aborting a child with hydrocephalus.
