Well, you know what?

I don't understand anyone voting just because of race. I'll probably bring the wrath of the board down on me but so far as I know we still have free speech.

If blacks were just "blacks" as some of us are just "whites" maybe the race issue would die on the vine. They set themselves aside as "AFRICAN-Americans.  Slavery was abolished by whites.  IMHO it is insulting that blacks insist on being "African"-Americans.  With 95% voting for Obama it's obvious that most of them are voting for COLOR, not the candidate,

So far as I know there has never been a Native American president.  Having a Native American heritage, I would still not vote for a Native American just because he/she was Native American.  If there ever was a down-trodden group of people it was the Native Americans.  Read up on the Trail of Tears.
