of constantly seeing black celebs on TV talking about no more white lies because they now have a black president.  All I've seen on TV since the inaguration are black people rejoicing because it seems they believe Obama will put all the crackers in their place now.  it is sickening.  I get so sick and tired of hearing about how prejudice white people are when there sounds to me like there are just as many black people spreading the hate around as well.  I see this comic as calling them stupid just like when they used the monkey with Bush. 

I don't know how many black musicians I've heard on TV shouting f*ck white people....we have a black president now.  But you don't hear the media calling them out and talking about how disgraceful that is.  Oh no.  You don't hear them discussing such obscene things on The View.  the double standards in racism never ceases to amaze me.  You don't dare use the N word (which I never would anyway) but it is quite alright for a black person to say f*ck white people.  It is okay for a black church to be strictly black and be total for the black community, etc but if a white church did that....it would be labeled as the KKK. 

of this country being divided along racial lines for the purpose of denigration.  The one race we all belong to is the HUMAN race, hence, "humanity."

how republicans are at fault for everything.  Yes, President Bush is republican but don't we have a democrat congress?  What have then done to help better things?

I'm neither republican or democrat.  I always try to pick the person I feel is best for the job.  However, I learned a long time ago that a politician will say almost anything to get elected.  Yes, Obama has many plans, but realistically how many of these plans will actually work, be put into works if he is elected, or just a bunch of smoke he is blowing up our rear ends to get elected. 

I was watching a show on TV the other night that showed politicians during an election year and one of the things consistently brought up by many was the need to decrease our dependency on oil.  This went all the way back to even before Carter was president.  After these politicians were elected, not one of them did anything about decreasing our dependency on oil.  Politicians will bring up any subject worth bringing up during an election year to get the backing of people, but once they win.....they don't have to do half of what they promised to do.

from corporations and our representatives? Are we supposed to always forgive them like their cronies do?

Thain just apologized for spending $1 million on remodeling his office but did not apologize for all the millions in bonsues he took when he left the company after 3 weeks.

Last night during the hearing for Geithner, Dodd spent so long talking, not about Geithner, but lecturing against Bush. I didn't even listen to Harry Reid. He's another one.

Barney Fife recieved $12 million from FM/FM. Sickening (haven't researched that yet, but heard it on the news).

Oh, and how about the $50 million corporate jet that was just ordered by one company, yet are asking for another $20 million from TARP. They SAY they are not using taxpayer's money for this jet. So, if not, how come they needed, and need, TARP money? Bull.

I'm sick of all the greed and coruption, not only in our government but also  corporate.

Apologies and we're to forgive them?  I don't think so. Why can't we get all this crap cleaned up? Is everyone in everyone else's pockets?

Okay. I'm done venting for now....................I think.

I acknowledge that Bush ran up one heck of a deficit.  I understand that this omnibus bill includes pork with 60% of the pork being added by dems and 40% being added by pubs.  I'm tired of the whole lot of them.  Okay pubs....so dems have 60% of the pork....you still have 40%......TAKE IT OUT!!!!  STOP THE SPENDING!!!!  I hear Obama talking about cutting the deficit and then in the next sentence all I hear is spending spending spending.  WTH is our government thinking.  STOP THE SPENDING!!!!!!!  We need to start letting these companies fail.  We can't bail out everybody.  As much as this will hurt my family in particulary, they need to let GM file bankruptcy.  They need to stop giving money to these banks.  Government needs to stop rewarding irresponsible people.

With the amount of money that we owe and the amount of money that is proposed to being spent here.......taxing the rich alone cannot pay this deficit down. 

We need to STOP government spending.  We need to give tax cuts.  The reason Bush's tax cuts didn't do anything is because government was still spending money like it had just won the lottery.  I'm tired of politicians being wasteful and spending money.  I'm tired of big CEOs making millions while they can't afford to pay their workers. 

Right now both parties are on my poop list!!!  I'm tired of the back and forth cry baby whining.  Bush screwed up.  I get it.  But Bush is out of the office now and now we have Obama.  Just because Bush screwed up and spent like crazy doesn't give Obama the excuse to spend more because this deficit was wrapped and handed to him.  STOP THE SPENDING GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!

When are people going to realize that this isn't pubs vs dems anymore.  This is the American people vs our government.  pubs and dems have both screwed up.  It is time to take our country back!!!!!!

Change into what?  I'm sorry, but the only change that we will see with Barrack Obama in office is a bigger government with enough power to take away our liberty.  Yes, people have already lost their jobs and they will continue to lose their jobs especially if Obama raises taxes on businesses.  This promise of change and you all assume that it is a change for the good.  Obama has done nothing but step on people and use radical associations to boost his political career.

And you know what....I hope to God that I am wrong about Barrack Obama because if I'm not.....we, including you, will be singing a different tune about Barrack Obama and it won't be a song about how great he is....that is unless he makes us sing a song about how great he is. 

As for the gun thing....this is a legit concern.  It may not be one of yours, but don't give people crap when they feel that it is.  Every dictator takes away the weapons from the people so they have nothing to use in their defense.  Look throughout history.  How many times has a dictator come into power and the people praised him and thought he was great until he flipped the switch and took total control of everything. 

subsidize the wealthy?  How 'bout congress getting $4700 in COLA to "subsidize" their housing?  They don't need mansions to live in while doing their jobs in Wash, DC.  They don't need the top to be driven by chauffers.  They don't need to be treated to banquets and dinners because they do their jobs in Wash.  Congressmen constantly say they are serving the American people, or are they getting rich off the backs of the middle class?  IMO, it is the latter.  Or, how 'bout subsidizing oil companies who have made outrageous profits?  Those subsidies should come to an END, NOW!  These handouts go both ways! 

At one point in my life, newly divorced, I worked for minimum wage, raising two young children.  Although I was very frugal, it was extremely tough making rent, utilities (old junk car, no car payment), and food.  One night, I broke my elbow, could not work, had no money except child support.  After hospitalization, called Welfare Dept, could not receive food stamps because I "made too much money the month before."  End of story as far as Welfare Dept was concerned.  So, my mom and dad helped me out with groceries for my two kids.  So, as far as welfare handouts, I received none.  So, in my experience, I don't know where your b*tch is!!

our conscience guide us politically?

I'm sorry, that is a separation I cannot make.  My faith and religious convictions are part of the whole person that I am.  I vote my conscience.  I want political leaders who reflect my morality.  I also happen to believe there are many Christians out there like me.  There is no "separation" of church and state for me, which by the way was a concept (nowhere specifically mentioned in the constitution) meant to protect the church from the government more so than the government from the church.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that commercial.  There are condom commercials, "personal" lubricant commercials, and penis and sexual performance enhancing commercials -- why would anyone be offended by a pro-life commercial?  The fact that anyone would be offended is a testament to just how twisted society has become!

and there was an outcry that I made it up.  I have no investment in it at all -- true or untrue.  I do enjoy novelty information, though, and thought others might enjoy it also.

on TV.  I didn't see the whole video clip of them singing but the little bit I did see was enough to show me how eerie and just messed up that is.  This whole thing is just creepy. 

But read the rest and tell me how many times he mentions Islam, Muslins, and the rest:

Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires; timeless poetry and cherished music; elegant calligraphy and places of peaceful contemplation. And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.

I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America's story. The first nation to recognise my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President John Adams wrote: "The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims."
 
And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States. They have fought in our wars, served in government, stood for civil rights, started businesses, taught at our universities, excelled in our sports arenas, won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. And when the first Muslim-American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Quran that one of our Founding Fathers Thomas Jefferson kept in his personal library.
 
So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn't. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.

But that same principle must apply to Muslim perceptions of America. Just as Muslims do not fit a crude stereotype, America is not the crude stereotype of a self-interested empire. The United States has been one of the greatest sources of progress that the world has ever known. We were born out of revolution against an empire. We were founded upon the ideal that all are created equal, and we have shed blood and struggled for centuries to give meaning to those words within our borders, and around the world. We are shaped by every culture, drawn from every end of the Earth, and dedicated to a simple concept: Epluribus unum: "Out of many, one."
 
Much has been made of the fact that an African-American with the name Barack Hussein Obama could be elected president. But my personal story is not so unique. The dream of opportunity for all people has not come true for everyone in America, but its promise exists for all who come to our shores - that includes nearly seven million American Muslims in our country today who enjoy incomes and education that are higher than average.

Moreover, freedom in America is indivisible from the freedom to practice one's religion. That is why there is a mosque in every state of our union, and over 1,200 mosques within our borders. That is why the US government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab, and to punish those who would deny it.
 
So let there be no doubt: Islam is a part of America. And I believe that America holds within her the truth that regardless of race, religion, or station in life, all of us share common aspirations to live in peace and security; to get an education and to work with dignity; to love our families, our communities, and our God. These things we share. This is the hope of all humanity.
