I would pay 25% in taxes on all goods with the POSSIBILITY of not having to pay 15% in income tax. I think that is pretty much a no-brainer.
If the intention of this VAT tax is to help fund the national health care system, what about folks who are already paying for insurance and want to keep their private insurance.
Nope..........I'd have to say I'm against it in all aspects. Obama promised no new taxes (heard that before?) and even though I didn't vote for him, I think his toes should be held to the fire on this one.
