Way to go

I too am getting tired of all the "slinging". Especially since most of it is not based on facts. Does everyone want to be in a war the remainder of their lives? Do they want to live in fear? Do they want the economy to never get better? Do they want to see the housing market collapse any further than it has already? Do they want to see their children pulled into a war that we should not be fighting? There are too many negatives of keeping the same ol in there, when there is so much more that can be done and would be done with the change of a president. No matter what anyone says McCain and Bush are exactly the same (look at their records). If McCain gets in the Bush policies will continue - guaranteed!
I for one am ready for a change. We have to have hope. Putting the fear in people minds that if you get Obama in there America will come crumbling down, etc is no better than what our government is dishing us right now. The way things are going there is no hope for America. The housing market will continue to decline, our economy will continue to crumble, and our children will end up fighting a war that we started but had no business starting. Go ahead and argue that our taxes will go up. Yes I know that, but you can't guarantee it won't happen with McCain. After all how are they going to keep funding the war. Sorry but getting $300 back each year is not enough to improve the economy or my life, especially when I turned around and that only covered 2 weeks of groceries. (Plus not everyone got something back)Also, I am willing to pay more taxes if it means our troops come home, the money that is being sent to Iraq (over a billion a month I heard) would get put back into our economy here, housing crisis will improve, etc, etc. There are way too many positives of having a change in party as president right now (besides he isn't going to be making the "big" decisions on his own. That is why he hires the best people for his cabinet, and they will be from both parties). It's called "unity". If you keep a republican in there you will always have a government that is divided.
I need some "hope" here as I think a lot of other people do.
