Tomorrow night we are hosting an ELECTION party at our house.  There will be dems and there will be pubs.  We are all friends.  We all have opinions.  We will all vote tomorrow.  Tomorrow night we will have some serious discussions, we will indulge in some good-natured kidding and calling each other names like "rabid republicans" and we will all laugh.  We will talk about what is going to happen after the election is over.  We will eat and drink (non-alcohol) and make merry.  The next day we will all be friends and we will turn our talk to what we can all do to bring about CHANGE.

Sorry SOME  of you pubs just can't contain yourself from saying something ugly to anyone who doesn't totally agree with you. Mores the pity.

somethin like

come on give me that big rig, baby.

Changed my mind, wanta hear what I did?

First, husband went to bed.  I'm watching SNL and dying  laughing but can't stand commercials.  Now that that is out of the way.

With that out of the way.........as for the face scratching...I dunno.  Once I was addressing a rather respected, dignified person and being a person who can't talk without my hands, I realized instead of using my index finger for my emphasis, I was using my middle finger.  I wasn't flipping him off but I'm surprised he didn't write me off.  One of my most embarrassing moments.

Back to SNL at least until the next commercial
