In truth's honesty I bought into the Bush fear tactics. I'm ashamed to say I voted him over Gore and unfortunately bought into the same scare tactics and lies and voted for him the second time, but please do not blame me that it is my fault he is president. My MIL seems to think my vote and my vote alone is why he is in. It is so easy to get caught up in the fear factor when you don't have enough information and are being fed lies all the time.
This time I proudly support Barack and Joe. For the first time in my life we have a candidate that I believe will work for the American people and will do the best for us. Someone who understands what its like to worry day after day how we're going to pay bills, put our kids through school, keep our home without the value of it being less than what we owe. The list goes on and on and on. We need a leader who will inspire. Not one who tears down through fear and intimidation. We need a leader who we all can look up to, to rely on to make the most intelligent decision, and who WILL listen to the people he surrounds himself with who know what they are talking about. Not someone who puts fear into the people around him and refuse to listen to what they say because he believes he is all knowing.
I am voting for Barack because I believe we can do better as a country. Not the same of what we've had for the last 8 years.
I say good for you Ms. single parent homeschooling your child. Proud of who you are and what you have accomplished. That is what America is all about.
