bend to the decider's rule. What did the dem's get done while in "control" of congress - they never were in control! What is it that posters don't understand about that? The people have spoken - not once - but TWICE and the pubs still don't get it..............

Jim Webb is Senator George Macaca Allen's opponent in Virginia. Senator Allen never served in the military. I wonder how many of his children will serve in Iraq.
Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Jim Webb will skip Virginia's annual campaign kickoff Labor Day event in Buena Vista Monday because his son is being shipped out to Iraq.
Webb, a decorated Marine combat veteran of the Vietnam War will visit with his 24-year-old son, Jimmy, at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. The son is a lance corporal in the Marine Corps.
Families are given 72 hours notice to visit with their children before they are deployed overseas, a Webb spokeswoman said.
Webb will have seasoned surrogates to fill his slot at the parade and do speechmaking in the western Virginia town. Gov. Timothy M. Kaine and former Gov. Mark R. Warner will campaign for Webb in Buena Vista and at subsequent Labor Day events in Covington and Newport News.
Sen. George Allen, a Republican, whose job Webb wants, will ride a horse in the parade.
The Buena Vista event has been held for 35 years. Although the candidates have been campaigning for months by Labor Day, it is seen as the kickoff of the true campaign season. -- Tyler Whitley
