I just watched this and I am so totally nauseated by Obama, his radical viewpoints and what he stands for and what he has done and what will happen to our country if he is elected. I'm going to post another message above with a link that you've got to watch. I wished I had a voice like The Hon. James David Manning because that is how loud I'd be shouting. This is truly a terrifying time for our country. I just want to shout and scream - what is wrong with everyone. Why can't they see. Do we have that many Americans living in this country that feel the same way Ayres or Wright does and wants to vote someone like Obama in. I don't get it. I just don't get it and after watching these videos tonight I get sick just thinking what will happen to our country if he is elected.

II fee the exact way as you. If people don't agree with them they scream "racist", when they have no clue what a racist is (they use it in the form of a threat). There are plenty of racists on both sides. Voting for someone just because they are black is as bad as not voting for them because they are black. I also see that when republicans and independents talk about issues regarding not agreeing with certain issues or policies they get blasted with "your a racist" - still can't figure out that one. I'll tell you something - Martin Luther King would be ashamed of the lot of them. What I learned about Dr. King was that he was for equality for ALL people regardless of race or anything. He wanted equality to whites (not less, not more - equality). "ALL men are created equal" is what he used to say in his speeches. I hear too many times the crats something think that MLK would be a democrat, blah, blah, blah, speaking as if they knew him personally. They just so happen to like to skip over that one little truth that Dr. Martin Luther King was a registered REPUBLICAN. Whether or not he would have changed parties NOBODY knows because he is not here any longer, although I highly doubt he would have but again, NOBODY, knows. All we know is that he was a republican when he was alive. How I wish he was still here though because I believe he would tell them a thing or two. But the plain truth is they simply do not know what MLK would have done in today's time since times have changed so drastically as have the people in each party. And you're right...they don't care. They throw his name around like it's some sort of a threat. Even Chris Rock talked about that in one of his comedy routines (I think the messenger routine he does).
I would like to see more topics being discussed instead of coming here reading posts starting in with "you this or you that" calling people names and blasting anyone that does not agree with them. It's all childish rhetoric.
I'm also tired of hearing people jump on the "glee wagon" and get pure enjoyment out of seeing someones life destroyed when they are a republican, but when a democrat has been caught doing something equally (if not worse) bad then nobody is supposed to say anything.
So, like you I am sick to death of it.
I'd like to hear about issues, not that someone had an affair, but how about issues that are going to affect our individual lives, like the wasteful spending the crats keep doing, the taxes, growing govt, etc, etc. There is plenty wrong going on.
And since it was okay to bash Bush and cut him down on every single thing he did, they better quit their whining when the bad about their lord comes out. As some on this board said "Payback is a byatch". They sure don't like it when it happens to their guy.

Didn't you understand my post. I'm glad your happy, as I will be happy when in 1474 days we will get someone else who will be American born. Now...here's my open mind. If they change the constitution that anyone in the world can run for president then yes it will be legal, but until then the last thing I read was the constitution said a requirement for being president is you need to be an american born and last I knew Kenya was not part of the US.
The childish countdowns are nauseating. I'm not stopping you from being happy, but in the same rights let me be happy to.

Its like they just crawled out of their backwoods society to make an appearance because for once in their life they have something brought to the table that you dont even need smarts to talk about... And for people who are concerned about "businesses" being taxed and not able to hire people..... When was the last time you encountered a company that cared about their employees anyway... They have been taking advantage of their employees for years.... Cutting benefits, not keeping up with pay increases, outsources rather than hire you anyway.

Since every single day when I get on I see a dem posting how many days left til change of office I too am following their lead and will post how many days until the next president comes in. If people don't like it then don't count down every single days how many days left until this change.
Oh, I hope Obama does a good job, after all I did vote for him in the primaries (I didn't vote in the general election), but I just wanted to show how absolutely nauseating and ignorant of the person who keeps posting how many days left til the change of this office.
I'm looking forward to GW finally being gone, but I am getting a bit nauseated (do you understand yet how sick I am of it) at the absolute ignorance and arrogance with people doing a countdown - hence, my countdown too. I'm very open-minded, hope all goes well and there are a lot of people in government I would love to see in office (always keep an open mind). I am always looking forward to the future.

You are correct on all counts. And I do agree that Bush lied to the American people to further his agenda as a warlord. It was not about bringing democracy to Iraq. It was about domination of the oil market in Iraq. Bush and his henchmen are making millions out of this deal, while killing our soldiers and causing more tension in the world. I feel sorry for the the kids, but I also don't think throwing money at the parents is the answer. I've had an example of a deadbeats in my family who get a check, but the money hardly ever benefits the children. They pocket it and spend it on their selfish desires. To help kids the best thing to do for them is free school lunches and WIC. Food stamps can be traded for drugs and sold for cash. I'm glad to see most states are going to the debit card system with no cash back ability, however, I'm sure the scammers will somehow find a way around that too eventually. I think putting the money directly to what benefits the children is better than a check.

I can't believe you mentioned the Groene children!! I just talked with my daughter about that very case not five minutes ago, and I brought up Bill O'Reilly's campaign regarding this issue to her.
I don't care for Bill O'Reilly, but I do applaud his efforts in changing the sentencing, going from state to state and exposing judges who give out these ridiculous sentences. These people deserve life or worse.

To me, that's totally understandable.
If anyone hurt any of my children, I'm not sure what I would do. If people can't count on the system to do its job, in my opinion, I don't blame them for taking the law into their own hands, and I believe they're justified.

No. However, I must agree that if that information does come out and they lie about it.....that does show me what kind of person they are. Right on - I would say I blame the media more than Edwards. I sit here yelling at my TV "This is NOT breaking news. The war in Georgia is breaking news, Iraq is breaking news, not this". Also that missing girl in Texas is not breaking news. They keep flashing it - breaking news, girl in Texas missing. Well she's been missing and I'm really sorry about that but that's not breaking news and if they are giving this story that much attention is she the only missing girl in America? My understanding is hundred and hundreds of kids in America are missing/abducted or whatever. So why don't they all get equal air time? Now...finding her alive or finding her body or finding the killer would be breaking news. But then again not from morning til night and never giving us any news about the what's happening in the war and stuff that is affecting us financially.

I believe that education should be about questioning and exploring all the information out there, not just spitting out the facts that are laid out in textbooks. If we're not giving our kids all the information, we are cheating them educationally. How else are they going to learn to decide what choices and beliefs are right for themselves if we don't teach them that it's okay to think for yourself?

We should help others, yes. That would be help those others who actually deserve and need the help and CANNOT help themselves and not the ones too lazy or disinclined to help themselves, those who feel "entitled." Welfare and such social systems were supposed to be a temporary situation and were supposed to be paid back when the recipient got back on their feet. Not working and supporting one's self and family was humiliating. We have let it become a way of life for far too many people. The Obama plan would encourage more of it. We need to put an end to it, not increase it. I don't know anyone, while most of us barely taking care of ourselves and our own families, who wants to be supporting someone else who isn't willing to do for themselves. Selfish? Maybe, maybe NOT, but personally I want to be the one to reap the benefits of my own hard work and decide in what way I choose to help others, not have it shoved down my throat.

I am not sure where you live, but where I am - the state is putting limits on things and I believe you can't get welfare money, actual money, unless you are working. The food stamps I believe are a different issue. I am not sure how the Medicaid part of it works though. It has made me think, I have to do some checking.
