How unfortunate. I really do not think Mel is an sm
anti-semite. Much of what his father says is taken out of context. He writes and speaks a lot about the globalists and New World Order. He is anti-Zionism. True Torah Jews are not Zionists. Wolfowitz, Kristol, Perle, etc., true owners of the Federal Reserve are Zionists, and they are VERY powerful. They run most of Hollywood. Here is a link to explain that:

Very unfortunate
that Central Ohio is gray, cold and rainy today. Yeah, I know weather shouldn't matter if you really believe, but I would be much more likely to attend if I didn't have to risk getting drenched.
There is an unfortunate truth
for Democrats regarding the Clinton presidency: President Reagan's policies worked. Reaganomics -- which posited and proved that cutting taxes made more money available to the private sector to increase employment, thus increasing the total wages available to be taxed, even at a lower rate -- did increase absolute funding. And -- through a strong defensive posture that does not back down, the top heavy controlling political systems of the enemies of freedom will finally collapse because of the waste of resources that such a tightly-controlled economy (through the subsequent increase in bureaucrats (who, by there very nature, produce nothing in the economy)) leads to. Having said that, the following series of events actually have resulted in what you accurately described, but have misapplied cause and effect. To wit --
Reaganomics resulted in an increase in capital investment which provided jobs, which allowed more citizens to have more disposable income and the government to have more monies available, which the Republican president spent on common causes -- defense of the homeland from belligerent nations, infrastructure repair and increasing resource availability. This resulted in a surplus of moving capital in the economy and the government coffers. Some of this was spent on the Gulf War where Bush 41 turned back an aggressive nation from attacking another one (consider Germany rolling over Poland and Western Europe for a similar situation). Having accepted terms of cease fire we settled into a period of time relatively free of conflict. Then we changed horses in mid stream and Bill Clinton took office, failed to pursue terrorist organizations, dismantled our spy network, withdrew our support from rebels in Iraq and ignored a growing terrorist threat that we knew little about because he had dismantled our spy network by issuing orders that no CIA agent was to enlist the aid of unsavory characters. However, anyone a spy agency turned to spy for them is, by definitition, an unsavory character. So, when Clinton turned his attention to the domestic front (as liberals prefer to do) and ignoring the foreign front (as liberals also prefer to do) he proceeded to spend what was left from the Reagan coffers. Not going into the 1992 slap Clinton was given for pushing his brand of socialism down America's collective throat, essentially, left George Bush with an enemy which had a blank check for 8 years to do what they wanted without being watched. We should not be so surprised by 9/11 as it would at first appear. Following 9/11 and the hunt for bin Laden in Afghanistan, Bush 43 went to war with Iraq. There has been much discussion about this, but the way I see it is there were three factors that made this war completely justified -- 1) Saddam Hussein had already used WMD in his war with Iran and his suppression of the Kurds; 2) He was a known financial supporter for terrorists worldwide, especially in Israel and 3) what I believe to be the most important one -- the Gulf War was not legally over in that Hussein had never surrendered, he had merely accepted terms for a cease fire. However, he did not live up to his agreement, so the war had to be restarted.
In summary, then, republicans watching the foreign front (and I will grant you, ignoring the domestic front, mostly) increased the public coffers; democrats (focusing on the domestic front and ignoring the foreign front) pursued policies that left us blind to foreign intrigue while spending the largesse from the previous administration's more fiscally responsible domestic program which left the next conservative President without good intelligence and with depleted public coffers. There is so much money going into Washington that the delay between the policies that increase or diminish and the development of the actual increase or depletion can be 4 to 8 years. That's how I see it.
I too think it was a PERSONAL matter. It's unfortunate that the
republicans would stop at NOTHING to drag Bill Clinton through any kind of mud at any cost to the country down to whos blowing him.
This is an unfortunate circumstance and sad, my thoughts go to his family -
It's sad whenever anyone has an affair no matter who it is or what party they belong to. We all know democrats have their fair share too. Am sure we can name as many crats as republicans who have had affairs. It's sad that this happens to any family and surely nothing to be happy about because it happened to someone in the party that one doesn't support.
However, his having an affair does not change my viewpoints about what he stands for in his political career. He is still one of the good guys and stands up for what is right and what is good for the American people. His ideas are good and him having an affair doesn't change how I feel about what he has done in his political life.
We should all leave his personal life alone (especially since the crats didn't want to discuss John Edwards, Bill Clinton, Barney Frank, Daniel Inouye, Fred Richmond, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.)
You cannot say one is better than the other because one of them "might" have run for President (especially when it had not been decided that Sanford was going to be chosen as the next candidate- and funny how last week everyone here was talking as though Ensign was the running candidate - none of that had been decided yet), however, Edwards actually was chosen and was running for VP and President, and even Clinton, the President himself.
Some comments I read on different sites were...
Democrats cherish anything that focuses off Obama's failures as a President. Very pathetic if you ask me.
Liberalism is a disease that destroys brain cells due to the ingestion of kool aid. Thus, they are forced to forget about their own idiotic and stupid leaders and focus their hate and anger on anyone that disagrees with them
I know! Republicans are humans, and they make mistakes just like everyone but what defines them is how they apologize (hence we forget Clinton's pathetic excuse and attempt to apologize).
When Republicans have an affair, the Democrats scream "They must be held accountable and resign." When Democrats have an affair, they go through a media circus, but all is forgiven and they stay in office.
Lots of interesting other comments but way to many to post.
I don't know if it is a hoax or not, but
I do try to find my news from more reliable sources than TMZ.
The NAU is a hoax.
Perpetuated by a bunch of paranoid fear mongers until people have started to believe it. Check Snopes.
I told you it was a hoax!
The story made no sense from the very beginning. What is really amusing to me is how quickly the rabid right-wing posters jumped all over this story. Makes me wonder about their judgment and their ability to make an intelligent decision about voting.
Mark my words...this is a hoax!
All you have to do is look at the picture and see the backwards "B" on her cheek. By the way, she was working at a McCain/Palin call center just before this alleged attack took place.
Ashley Todd exposed as HOAX.

Sham: a spurious imitation; fraud or hoax. No spellcheck needed.
Maybe you should stop worrying about petty bunk and face the issues.
SHAM!
Anti-choice movement gets duped in a Blogger Baby Hoax
The unmarried mother's story about giving birth to a child diagnosed as terminally ill in the womb hit a major nerve on the Internet.
Every night for the last two months, thousands of abortion opponents across the nation logged on to a blog run by the suburban Chicago woman who identified herself only as "B" or "April's Mom."
People said they prayed that God would save her pregnancy. They e-mailed her photos of their children dressed in pink, bought campaign T-shirts, shared tales of personal heartache and redemption, and sent letters and gifts to an Oak Lawn P.O. box in support.
As more and more people were drawn to her compelling tale, eager advertisers were lining up. And established parenting Web sites that oppose abortion were promoting her blog -- which included biblical quotes, anti-abortion messages and a soundtrack of inspirational Christian pop songs.
By Sunday night, when "April's Mom" claimed to have given birth to her "miracle baby" -- blogging that April Rose had survived a home birth only to die hours later -- her Web site had nearly a million hits.
There was only one problem with the unfolding tragedy: None of it was true.
Not the pregnancy, and not the photos posted on the blog of the supposed mother and Baby April Rose, swaddled in white blankets. The baby was actually a lifelike doll, which immediately raised the suspicion of loyal blog-followers.
"I have that exact doll in my house," said Elizabeth Russell, a dollmaker from Buffalo who had been following the blog. "As soon as I saw that picture, I knew it was a scam." -- She had expected only a handful of friends to read it, but when her first post got 50 comments, she was hooked.
"I've always liked writing. It was addictive to find out I had a voice that people wanted to hear," Beushausen said.
"Soon I was getting 100,000 hits a week, and it just got out of hand," she said. "I didn't know how to stop. ... One lie led to another."
So the lie isn't the problem, but the fact that she got addicted to blogging made her continue on. What a sad and disgusting tale. Using a phony story to whip up the anti-choice movement is pretty vile. A woman has the right to choose in this country, but the religious right will do anything it can to try and take that right away. You never hear them talk about the mother in any of their debates. It's like the woman is only a "vessel" to carry a child and doesn't exist in any other manner. "Bring the vessel here." "How dare the vessel speak out."
Maybe the rumor was right
When I saw the news I remembered my earlier post here regarding my friend's son (who is on active duty in Iraq) predicting the next war would be in Pakistan. Interesting coincidence causing my half-awake brain to fill with paranoid "was this staged by our own govt as a new excuse for a new war" conspiracy theories, LOL. I better get some caffeine and clear out the cobwebs.
That is a rumor, and did you ever think...
what effect it is going to have on that 16-year-old when she hears that kind of thing, finds out she has been made political fodder?
rumor has it
has malodorous feet... can anyone confirm this?
I heard a rumor
From a friend with a son in Iraq, who supposedly told her that Pakistan is the next targeted place for war. Supposedly it would be considered a "new" war and as such would give Bush a loophole to stay in command of the armed forces as "commander in chief" for an extra year....I'd never heard of this so I don't know if my friend is nuts or what. Is there such a provision that if a president starts a new war in the last year of his term he gets to hang out an extra year to supervise it?
Unfortunately he did say it - not rumor - and not funny!
This is not rumor or heresay, this is fact. People who dislike Obama so much will not want to believe it, but as unfortunate as it is, it is true. And yes, it is true that Hillary called Bill many names equal to the "c" word (and right in front of Chelsea and others as they stood on the stairs in their mansion), and on multiple occasions used the "F" word toward the secret service. These were not unsubstantiated rumors you seem to think are funny (lol), these are hard facts, and nothing worth laughing at. It is also unfortunate that in this day and age too many people let the swear words fly out of their mouth as their everyday language, and worse is when they don't respect their peers or spouses enough not to use that kind of language towards them (especially in front of other people). As for McCain admitting to it? Give me a break...of course he's not going to admit that especially in light of the election coming up. Also don't you think it's a bit odd that if it wasn't true she (Mrs. McCain) sure is not denying it and if it were untrue both he and his wife would be coming out stating these were rumors they are not true, lies put out by my competitors, blah, blah, blah. But they are not denying it, they are doing everything they can to keep that out of the news and avoiding the issue. So leads one to assume they wish it never happened.
As for people speaking in anonymity....it has come out that people will not go on the record for fear of retaliation. It's similar to this board here. People will remain anonymous because they get attacked a lot.
You have no proof that this is a rumor!
Hoping something is not true doesn't make it so! Did you see the pictures? Her daughter looked much more pregnant that Palin did!
Prove to me that it is a rumor!!!

Because the rumor factor has taken this to mean

There is a rumor going through the press that........ sm
Rahm Emanuel turned him in. I'm not reporting this as fact because I haven't checked it out yet, but I have seen that mentioned.
Apparently yet another rumor
Update: The McCain campaign hasn't heard anything about the report of a bus being attacked. This makes the following report seem highly unlikely. Neither Raton police nor state police have received reports about such an incident.
The blog item below was posted by Mark Williams, former talk-radio host turned spokesman for Our Country Deserves Better PAC, a group committed to working against an Obama quest for the presidency. He has been on the group's Stop Obama tour, which arrived in Raton about a day after a McCain/Palin bus came through, he said. Williams said he heard the story from several residents of Raton, who said the bus had a shattered window when it arrived in town, and that it had been shattered by some kind of shot during its trip up from southern New Mexico, but he never saw the bus.
A Raton Police spokesperson, who said he's been on his phone all day long with reporters, said if the incident happened, it happened far south of Raton. Several calls to offices south, such as Chavez County Sheriff's Department and the Roswell Police, however, turned up nothing. Looks like this one is firmly in the debunked rumor pile for now, and not likely to move anytime soon.
A report from New Mexico:
We learned at this morning’s Stop Obama Rally here that the McCain/Palin Straight Talk Express came through town yesterday. It arrived with a window shattered by a .22 caliber weapon. It had also been hit by an unknown number of paint balls from a paint ball gun or guns. There were reportedly no injuries and neither candidate was on board.
Get ready for the media saturation! The wringing of hands, the concern about "incitement," the indictment of Obama and Biden for daring to criticize McCain and Palin in such a way that would drive their supporters to this.
This is a false rumor
Check out emails like this that you get on snopes.com. If you go to snopes website and type in AIG bailout congress pension you will get the real truth. So many emails I get are totally false I never forward anything until I check it out on snopes.
My point is, like Clinton's it is a rumor.
Why put so much stock in these rumors......because you want to believe the rumors.
I do not believe anyone is trying to start a rumor. Just something we noticed.
and hopefully it is nothing serious. but it was noticeable.
Hey, the rumor mill is back!! (sm)
Here's a question for ya. If Bush is tried for war crimes and is found guilty, does that mean that Obama has *palled around* with war criminals? He has been to Bush's house recently....LOL
Heard the same blather from the Oreilly rumor factor
the NY Times, Rasmussen, Gallup, etc., all in response to his dive in the ratings, taking third place behind KO and RM on MSNBC and AC on CNN. "They MUST be rigged," he blustered in protest. You don't like polls? Fine. Check out the electoral map.

Care to post the right fringe rumor rag conspiracy theory link
I am not into solving prevarication puzzles. Further comment might be forthcoming if you spit out precisely what you are trying to say here.
Anyone who wants to email me
I would love to hear from you but this is why the gourd is going elsewhere. Expect this will be deleted as well.
I sent you an email.
are going down, but if Medquist, the largest transcription company can cut employees pay by 10%, other companies may follow. That means ASR work now being done by a Transcriptionist will get paid for 60% of that work. We figured out it will be approximately 1.60-2.00 cut in pay an hour. MQ states they need better quality being performed. Hello? It is NOW going to make MT's fly fast through the report and will probably careless about the quality because MT's are just trying to make the same money they were making a year ago. Basically MQ just might get crap work back to them. Does not make sense at all. Also did a survey with MQ and 51% of the employees felt that ASR was worthless and ASR has been getting worse since a year ago.
You got the email because you
visited the questions section the other day. Their's was an internet campaign and will be an internet administration.
I get their emails all the time and enjoy joining in the discussions. It's a lot different that MT Stars. I think you should go for it since you get a kick out of it. Makes no difference who you voted for or whether you like him or not.
Sent you an email.

It would help if I could see the email since obviously someone has it.

It would help if I could see the email since obviously someone has it.
But even so, I stand by what I've said. I'm not suffering a bout of outrage over a joke by republican or democrat or anything in between.
typo - meant cite things as hoax, not "site" things
Just thought I'd correct that before I get pummeled by the people who want to believe snopes is a truthful organization.
It was sent by email and us mail
to the Clerk of the House and the Superintendent Senate Office of Public Records. I don't think he would have backdated it 3 weeks and then emailed it, but maybe he did. I will have to investigate.
email hacking
If, IF it is true that someone hacked into her personal email, that is IMO going to far. Other than that, any candidate should be open to the closest scrutiny (sp?). The American people have a right to know everything, good and bad, about all candidates. However, I think that if intelligent people listen to what they are saying and watch the body language, they'll learn all they need to know. Both candidates will do anything and everything to get elected. They lie. Personally I have no use for liars and I have absolutely no respect for people who get their way by lying and slinging mud. Maybe they should quit bad-mouthing each other and get down to the issues?
Obviously a "form" email but
read it carefully, especially that we have a lot of work to do to get our country back on track. We most certainly do. *IF* I do get the follow up emails, I'll be glad to share if anyone is interested. WE need to get this country back on track. IF you really care about abortion, immigration, whatever....GET TO WORK TO CHANGE IT!!!
Doris --
I'm about to head to Grant Park to talk to everyone gathered there, but I wanted to write to you first.
We just made history.
And I don't want you to forget how we did it.
You made history every single day during this campaign -- every day you knocked on doors, made a donation, or talked to your family, friends, and neighbors about why you believe it's time for change.
I want to thank all of you who gave your time, talent, and passion to this campaign.
We have a lot of work to do to get our country back on track, and I'll be in touch soon about what comes next.
But I want to be very clear about one thing...
All of this happened because of you.
Thank you,
Barack
Who else got an email from the O camp?
I got one yesterday. They want help with their health "discussions" on health care.
"Over the coming weeks, thousands of Americans will be leading Health Care Community Discussions -- small local gatherings in which Americans are sharing thoughts and ideas about reforming health care. President-elect Obama and Health and Human Services Secretary-designate Tom Daschle are counting on Americans from every walk of life to help identify what's broken and provide ideas for how to fix it.
You can help shape that reform by leading your own Health Care Community Discussion anytime between now and December 31st. "
Do ya think I should do it? Do ya think I can get them to stop outsourcing? I'm not an O lover as you all know and I get a real kick out of this. How many of you O lovers got this email?
I didn't get an email but I got my Yes We Did

Just received this by email
http://www.countryfirstpac.com/petition/economic.aspx
petition to sign to VOTE NO ON THE STIMULUS PACKAGE.
An email I got - didn't know this
(Hope the spacing isn't off)
This is an interesting message about the reason AIG was bailed out....
Remember when this economic crisis hit, and Congress let Bear Sterns go under, pushed a bunch of forced marriages between banks, etc.?
Then they bailed out AIG. At the time, I thought: "That's strange, what does an insurance company have to do with this crisis?"
I think I just found the answer.
Among other things, AIG INSURES THE PENSION TRUST OF THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS!!
No wonder they got bailed out right away!
To he!! with the people, let's protect our future, said all our Senators and Congressmen. Nice to see where their loyalties lie!
(I'm from the government and I'm here to help you!)
My comment - and now you know why I don't trust congress.
It wasn't my son, it was an email sent to me
by my friend. I'll bet the mom was very proud. Looks like her son understands very well what it means to be patriotic. Congress needs to take some tips from him.
OK. Are we going to email the Prez about all the
backwards stance he is taking and all the trips Michele is taking, or are we going to sit here and take it?
Sorry, but at least GW mostly stayed in Washington if not in Texas and ran the government. They did not take "geography" classes on the road. How's the garden doing Michele? Do we hear about that? Nope. Just another publicity stunt.
Now he is praising Pelosi for her wonderful help? Give me a break.
When O became president, I figured I would give him a chance....but I figured okay, some of those bailouts he did might work Today, he is pushing for the CLNE, clean energy bill, which Pelosi has a big stake in, and now I know he is just a puppet of Pelosi and the others. I will not sit here and take his lies any longer. If i have to I will send an email every day to the WH telling him where to get off.
We get a magazine on country living and they are telling us to brace ourselves for the coming new policies on food. They are telling us to stock up on food for at least 3 years especially if H.R. 875 passes. Now, I don't know when this is coming up for a vote but I read the bill and it doesn't make me happy with the wording. If what the magazine is stating, they can stop us from producing family gardens if they will it. I'm hoping they straighten this out because as I read through it, it directly aims at the larger food production facilities, but the words that bother me are "any farm, .....or facility.... that produces food for resale." That means you will not be able to sell your garden grown extra foodstuffs unless you have a registration number....which also means government intervention. If anyone is interested, I can post the article pertaining to that.
O is finding out that his words aren't penetrating those who hate us a lot, so, as of this week, he has decided to pull back on international "friendship" and just deal with the USA because he knows we are getting disheartened with his policies. This gets our minds off the real issues of the world and we are supposed to believe every word he says, yet some are still idolizing him. Just wait another year. Then it will be too late..
Sorry, not in my book. I think it's time for all Americans to stand up and fight, deluge the goverment with emails, etc., whatever gets through to our President. Heck, I've been emailing every time I hear something new that goes against the laws of the land. Does it fall on deaf ears? Certainly....but I still do it. Guess I wil lbe on he UnAmerican list soon but I don't care. I've been quiet too long and am actively taking a stance in the American way of life....which is almost gone already after the 100 days. So sad.....
Now I'm getting off my and going for a . All the politics make me very thirsty.
American Woman - email sent
Hi American Woman. I sent you an email. Hope you get it.
If you truly are Democrat, then please check your email.
I hope you received it. I received a confirmation saying it had been sent, while at the same time receiving an *error* message, so I don't know what that means.
I hope it truly was you who posted and not just another misleading, dishonest ploy on the part of some of the less than forthcoming people who frequent these boards. Given the recent threats and their admission of stalking me and my posts, my safety and the safety of my family simply isn't worth it.
Palin's email hacked
http://gawker.com/5051193/sarah-palins-personal-emails
and her email address is gov.palin@yahoo.com
I had to put one of them on unaccepted email list
It was like receiving emails from a child that would post a rebuttle to everything I posted. I'm all for differences of opinions, but everytime I posted something I received a very immature email. Seeing as she was kicked off this board awhile back she decided to do emails instead.
If I ever receive an email like that from my employer...
..I will IMMEDIATELY begin to send out resumes and when I find another job, I will quit. I will give the courtesy of two weeks' notice, though, because one of us should be professional. However, my association with an employer like this will end immediately.
