Rush runs funny, though serious sounding, Moveon.org parody commericials. They swallowed this hook-line-and-sinker! Wow, talk about egg on their faces!

Relax - just heard the commercial
I just listened to the commercial. No where in the commercial does McCain call Obama a terrorist. He states that the people he is associted with are terrorists. Nothing new, and no lie there. I do have to say McCain must air commercials like that to enlighten people as to the shady characters Obama associates with. The people have a right to know. Just like the commercials that Obama is putting out against McCain. When it comes to politics the Americans have a right to know exactly who these people are and who are their affiliations and what damage are they going to do to America. Besides, I've heard plenty worse lies in commercials by Obama. When asked in the debate McCain was the only one who agreed it is dirty, and was going to back down, but Obama refused and also refused to apologize for the radical commercial that lied about McCain.

So I'd relax, just another election. If you don't like the commercials there is always the mute button. Besides, it will be over in a few weeks and we can put this behind us for at least 4 years.

Can someone explain J McCain's latest commercial
Okay, I'm no obama fan but I find John McCain's latest commercial totally mind numbing. What historic day is he talking about? In his usual condescending tone he is saying congrats to Barack on his nomination on this historic day. DH and I can't figure out what historic day?

It's a commercial. Just as Enzyte and Trojan are commercial. I've never said that those commercials were infringing on my rights. I said I don't like them. Just like you said you don't like the pro-life ad. So what's the difference here? You don't like the pro-life ad, then it shouldn't be allowed to air. I don't like the condom ad, so I should just change the channel? Can't you see the double standard? It's the hypocrisy of liberal tolerance staring you in the face!

I guess there was no agenda there. Every ad and commercial has an agenda. Please. Why else would they be running it? Just because the secular world's agenda is more acceptable to most of society doesn't mean that they have more freedom of speech or more right to have their agenda seen. It wouldnt matter to you I guess if there had been a pro-choice commercial on though right? Why? Because you agree with that so it is fine.
