The candidate has not caused the stir. The gossip, rumors, innuendos, bald-faced lies, speculation and smears about the candidate is what is stirring the pot, or at least trying to. Thankfully, only a handful of loons are paying any attention whatsoever.
Not the least bit curious about why Obama chose Hillary as SOS. No need. He has made his position well known. Her selection is consistent with the cabinet appointee strategies Obama has used. It is apparent that he is keeping his former opponents close at hand and assembling a team that will be providing him with a very broad-based reservoir of experience, advice and viewpoints. The 2-for-1 appointment of Hillary and Bill will serve Obama's administration well and have no doubt that she will be able to rise to the occasion and surpass even our best expectations.
Your parting shot lets us all know that some people will just spend their time moving from one conspiracy theory to the next during Obama's first term and will never be convinced of his eligibility to be POTUS, a pursuit that will inevitably keep them mired down in negative energy for years to come. I truly feel sorry for them, but hey, it take all kinds to make the world go 'round.
