It's called disappointment and frustration. Over half the country feels this way. Sorry we don't love your lord the way you do. We see what is wrong and we speak our minds. The same way you did when Bush was in office.

it's a person who constantly calls people a liar. That is so out of place in this milieu. You have no right to do that. What, because someone doesn't agree with YOU or has a set of facts different from YOU, they are a liar. One thing I can say about the C board, I never saw one of them call anyone a liar. You have the market all cornered on that. You should just be so proud.

Yes Obama is ahead but actually only by 5 points. This is according to the Rasmussen poll today, which is usually what everyone follows. I say their leads are closing in because last week Obama was ahead by 11 points, now he is ahead by only 5 points. Again, this is according to the Rasmussen report. I've said once and I'll say again, polls do not matter. The actual votes will count on November 4th. I'm at a point now that I don't care who wins. In honesty I hope McCain wins, but if Obama gets in that's the way it goes. But if you want to post a truly honest post, you should cite the poll that most everyone goes by and it is showing that their leads are narrowing. They've still got a couple weeks to go before the election and a lot can happen between now and then. Like I say I do hope McCain will win, but I am also realistic that Obama could win too, but to already project a winner could lead to devastating results in the end. Remember Tom Bradley? I would seriously think twice before stating false and misleading information as fact.
I'll tell you what I would like to see. I would like to see Obama drop out and Biden then become the nominee and Hillary as VP. Now that's a ticket I might vote for.
This leads me to other questions.

I was quoting the mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin..who is black, and a Democrat, though not poor. Did I say I didn't like mayor Nagin? The Salvation Army above all other charities I know do more good for the poor, indigent, and unfortunate. They do it willingly and without the fanfare of the American Red Cross. I love the bell ringers. Did you know that the people who ring those bells are usually unfortunate and poor and that they pay them pretty good wages to be out there? The Salvation Army raises a tremendous amount of money from the bell ringers and it goes right back to the poor. I would love to see proof of your allegations against this wonderful charitable organization.

why should those of us who have built something from our hard work and determination pay for those who have no ambition or drive and only feel a sense of entitlement, jealousy and anger towards those who are doing the right thing? Most people would be in much better financial shape and would be able to get through tough economic times if they just prepared before hand. Remember saving for a rainy day? Well it's pouring right now and I dare say a lot of people have not had to change their lifestyle because they were prepared. There is no incentive in socialism to work hard or save money. Laziness will be rewarded from the sweat of my back. You don't deserve my piece of the pie that I paid for!

I would be more than happy to step up and point out a few things that would lead many people to the conclusion that at least the message in your post is racist, and to the more general conclusion that people who post racist messages are very likely, well....racist.

Now, to begin with, there is not a shred of truth to one single thing you have said here. That would qualify you as prejudiced on the basis of "without just ground, before sufficient knowledge." The conclusions you have drawn from your unfounded accusations would also suggest irrationality directed against an individual and the supposed characteristics, in this case, religion.
Obstinate, intolerant and devoted to you own opinions and prejudices, exhibiting hatred and intolerance...yesiree, we can check that off and confidently pronounce you bigoted as well.
Racist...your assumption that ACORN is a "racist organization." Unfounded, untrue and without proof. I challenge you now to show us one thing in your post that is not prejudiced, bigoted AND racist, keeping in mind that you have no leg to stand on whatsoever until you can PROVE your accusations. I see that you feel it necessary to point out a typographical error as a means of communication. It isn't. One need only read this one page to get an idea of who you are. They don't hate us because we are free, they hate us because...
We need to stop imposing the way we live on them. They don't hate us because of our freedom. That is absurd. When have you ever heard them say we hate you because you are free? Never. What they have been saying is "Don't tell us how we should live". "Don't tell us we need to have the same type of government that America has", and they also say "We don't need the Americans designing our own countries flag" and that is why they hate us. They are their own country. It is not right for us to go in and say you need to live the way we do, your government needs to be run the way ours is. How would we like it if they came and said "Were invading America and your going to conform to the way we live because "its' the right way" or "god has told me this is the way it's suppose to be". No, we wouldn't like it one bit. Every country lives differently. We need to stop dictating how other countries should live.

You know, like the Supreme Court judges do when they don't agree? They give dissenting opinions. There is much more opinion on these boards than fact. As far as hate....your leaders in Congress have a good healthy hatred and want of revenge...or they would not put terrorism on the back burner to investigating Bush. Reading these posts I am trying to understand why Gov. Palin is hated so much. I'd like to know facts (not rumors or lies). Can you provide me with answers as to why. I just don't understand it.
The conversative republicans on this board are not coming out with hate towards Obama/Biden, and I really don't see much hate towards McCain, but the actual hate is seeping out and infiltrating all of your thoughts with Gov. Palin and I cannot understand why. I've seen her interviewed. She doesn't seem too bad. She's knowledgeable about the issues and answers questions with confidence. I've also seen Obama, Biden and McCain interviewed too and I just don't understand what it is towards Gov. Palin but not the others.
Please provide facts too. Everything I am reading on this board are rumors and lies, so if you could just tell me. Even if you say you don't like her because she's pretty, or she decided to have a baby instead of aborting him, etc I don't mind answers like that because they will be truthful, but please don't tell me you hate her because of something manufacted, or for something she is not personally involved in.

When we want her to speak out and show who she is? I don't hate her. I do think there were several more qualified women that could have been picked for the Rep VP slot. I think it is a slap in the face to the more educated, capable women that they picked a pretty little thing from Alaska that barely graduated college with a degree in Journalism.
Ms. Rice is 100 times more qualified to be VP, why not pick her?

I just don't like your lifestyle and that gay people are insisting upon calling a union between people of the same sex a marriage. In my opinion, and apparently in the opinion of a vast number of Americans, it devalues the institution of marriage between men and women. If you want to live together, fine. Just don't tell me that I must consider your situation a marriage and don't change our countries laws to recognize it as a marriage.
