white Americans who put these labels on the people? No, I don't think so. Back in the 60s, it was the blacks who decided they were Black Americans or African-Americans and it just went from there to be "politically correct".
I'm sick of being politically correct. You're either an American or not. Who started this "politically correct America"? Give you 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count.
I want America to be as America used to be, not all this hullabaloo that they spout nowadays. We all got along before, why can't we now get along? Too much racist bleeds into any conversation.
Too much hate and not enough following the 10 commandments. That's part of the problem. Give me, give me is another part of the problem. Too many people not watching out for their neighbor, just themselves; i.e., selfishness.
I read an article where the pubs want to work with the dems but the dems don't want to work with the pubs. Where's the bipartisanship in that? Unless the congress and senate start showing bipartisanship, the people won't.
There I go again, on my soap box. I'm sorry, but this is the way I feel. There is no UNITED STATES OF AMERICA or even America as I knew it back then and I'm not very happy about it. Freedom is not free. You have to work for it....and with that, I'll quit again, but I hope some of you on this board realize what I am stating.
