That's what I did. Because of DH's

surgery, we were considered a hardship case. I called the companies and they  companies set up payments for us that I can (barely) afford but I pay faithfully every month. In 3 more years, I'll be free and clear....just in time to retire.

I am sole support of us every winter and it's been truly hard. The winters seem to get longer and longer, September this year in fact, and see no work on the horizon for next year at all for him.  There are no jobs out there, so he's planning a very large garden. Guess we'll be vegetarians starting next summer.
