That McCain agreed with Bush 90% of the time? While I believe Bush has made mistakes and I don't agree with what he has done, he is not singly culpable for the woes of the American people. A president, UNDER THE LAWS OF THE CONSTITUTION, is not all-powerful. He has a lot of help along the way and the past 2 years of a democratic Congress hasn't helped matters. Just as with Obama, I believe there are forces far more powerful behind Bush than is apparent. People just take too much at face value, and this election is living proof of that. You said elsewhere you believed people "studied the candidates" and made informed decisions when voting in this election. I say horse hockey! I bet of you stopped 10 people on any street in any city of this country and asked them to tell you what Obama's platform or who his running mate was, they couldn't tell you. Oh, wait..... Howard Stern already did that.
As for other political forums, I do read some of them but I don't post on any of them. I read them as part of my "research" and as a way to understand what people think of the current state of politics in our nation. I read both pro Obama sites and anti Obama sites to try to understand the mindset of each side and make my decisions based on what I believe to be true. I also read news sites of both genres. You are not the only person who does her research.
