I appreciate your good wishes.  Unfortunately, it's a chronic problem (cystic fibrosis and all its accompanying problems), and I've now been hospitalized 9 times in a little less than three years.

I agree with you that things feel like they're changing.  I'm still hoping Obama will do the right thing, but from what I've seen so far vis-a-vis his appointments, I'm no longer hoping that he will.  I'll be the first to applaud him, once he's sworn in, if/when he does something reflective of his promises.  I'll also be the first to "fist-jab" him (perhaps with the aid of a prominent finger) if/when he DOESN'T.

Whether we agree or not, I just hope we can all survive, prosper and stay healthy.  Regardless of our political views, I truly believe that's the bottom line for most of us.
