in proofreading what I had typed really fast.....I noticed I typed run rise and run set instead of sunrise and sunset.  LOL!  Sheesh.  Sorry about that.

I believe that welfare was initially to help and get people back on their feet, but just like everything else in life.....the liars and crooks have ruined it for the honest people who truly just need help.  If people didn't abuse the system, I wouldn't have a problem with welfare.  However, we cannot afford to pay for every Tom, D!ck and Harry who think they can refuse to work and just collect a check.

This is my problem with taking more money from me to pay for government programs.  I would much rather keep my money and donate it where I see fit instead of trusting the government to donate for me knowing that it could potentially be rewarding irresponsible and lazy people instead of really helping the ones who need it.  That is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves.
