In Reply to: About Credible Sources - Gimme A Break
Years ago I stopped watching Fox news cos it was more "right" and I couldn't stand Hannity or O'Reilly (especially when O'Reilly came out and told some Jewish guest that Catholics invented marriage). So, then I started watching MSNBC. I really enjoyed their programs at first (cos I couldn't stand Bush, so agreed with a lot of them) but after awhile they were just like Fox but on the other end, and talk about some of them just getting really mean and nasty (yes same with Hannity, but he never pretended to be anything but arrogant). Olberman and Matthews pretended to be down the middle (or at least portrayed themselves that way). Anyway it just didn't seem like there was a good news source on TV. So I started reading Drudge, Rense & a couple other sites. I used to listen to Savage (but he comes on when I work anyway). I always thought he was more Independent leaning to the left, cos he was always going off on Bush and our current administration, but I could be wrong. If anything he was entertaining and I learned many new phrases from him. :-) I especially liked when a caller came on and was running off at the mouth not making any sense at all and speaking like he was on speed or something and Savage told him he sounded like a rabid dog and needed to go get his rabies shots, then hung up on him. HA HA HA. Anyway...it is so hard to know now adays what is credible and not credible. DH tells me to just read everything, research who the writer is and if they have an agenda, and then form my own opinion on what I feel is right or wrong. So that's what I do. If I do ever post anything I will make sure to mention that what I am posting is of course opinion only and people can take it or leave it.
Thanks for clarifying that with me. At least in the future I will be careful what I post as fact or opinion.
