thinking! You CAN live on one income, if your husband is a REAL man and WANTS to support his family! That's the problem with the world today, everyone is SO selfish and wants to "keep up with the Jones'" when the reality is, is that nothing has changed. If anything kids need their parents more NOW than ever! With the crime rate and murder rate, gangs, etc. A HUGE portion of that is due to lack of parenting. "I was too busy, I didn't know, I HAD to work!" attitude! Yes, women can have careers, AFTER their children go to school! There is NOTHING wrong with that! So stop saying "we can't work w/o being bashed?!" The first 5 years of a child's life is crucial! And they WILL remember if you were or were not there for them! I am so tired of you "feminists" bashing stay-at-home moms! All it is is an excuse NOT to stay at home with your kids! Sorry, but some people just are NOT maternal! My sister-in-law is one of them, but at least she ADMITS it! She likes to work and she is not very motherly and she will tell you straight out! So stop bashing SAHM's just because you may feel you have to "assert your independence" as a free and working woman of the 21st century!
