Vietnam-era radical Bill Ayers says he knows President-elect Barack Obama no better than thousands of other people in Chicago.
In an interview Friday morning on ABC's "Good Morning America," Ayers distanced himself from Obama. Ayers said — for example — the two didn't even meet before Ayers hosted an event at his home for Obama.
Ayers said the relationship was based on things like improving schools in their Chicago neighborhood — not on Ayers' political views.

This flu is nothing that just happened. It's 3 strains in one and was created in a lab.
So there was a coincidence in the timing of who was awarded a contract. She didn't say that Obama created this which is what your making it out to be. A lot of weird timings of stuff going on, but for Pete's sake stop turning something she pointed out into something she did not say.

I do believe there is more to the story that needs to be looked into.

What I am referring to are the many cases where schools will have rules that ban crosses or any form of Christian expression, but allow Muslims/Sikhs to wear headscarves. The ACLU by and large will not take those cases even if asked. If situation reversed, they will sue on behalf of Muslims/sikhs without being asked.
Again...the first ammendment guarantees freedom of religion and the free expression thereof. The last 4 words mean as much as the first words.
The first ammendment prohibits the establishment of a state religion...like the church of England that required everyone to follow that religion. There is nothing in the constitution that uses the words separation of church and state. The founding fathers did not seperate Christianity from the government...it is interwoven in the founding documents, on our currency, on the walls of Congress. It is part of the American heritage. From the drive to come here for religious freedom came the drive to set out the other individual freedoms.
As I said, if people find sharing the gospel annoying a simple I am not interested works with most Christians. There is always a radical fringe associated with any religion...some more than others. There is a radical political fringe.
All I am saying is that Christians are discriminated against in this country. And the same people who will rise up and decry discrimination against Muslims, et al, will not rise up and decry the same discrimination against Christians. I would think civil liberties apply to ALL of us....

Seriously, not every state can, or will go along with wind turbines. They're big, ugly, and noisy. They do not provide jobs for local people. They do provide jobs for the company maintaining them.

I agree with you. Bill and Hill think that
if they break it, they can fix it. They're up to something. Cannot trust either of them, and even though I am a staunch Democrat, I will not vote for her/him. My opinion is that the country's only hope is in Obama, whether you like him or not. He impressed me because he spoke out against the war when it was not politically correct, when people were said to be "unpatriotic" if they disagreed with the shrub. Have been paying very close attention to the primaries, caucuses, etc. since before Christmas. Please, no more Clintons, no more Bushes. Maybe Hillary will crash and burn.

Fact is, 92 dems voted no on it. Had they not, it would have passed. That was planned from the start. They do NOT want it to be a Dem majority, otherwise they would just pass it.
Why on earth should they vote for it if they don't believe in it and their constituents are asking them NOT to pass it, just because Bush wants it? THAT is what I am talking about. I say good for them. Toeing the party line is not what we need in this country. Holding people accountable is what we SHOULD be doing.

There is a reason that Bill and Hill aren't...
out there strongly for Obama. They ARE for the party, but not him particularly. If Hillary was invested in this, she would be going all over the country stumping. She's not. Bill was saying nothing but positive things on Greta Van Susteren's show. Hillary is fixed on 2012...and the only way she runs for Prez then is if Obama loses. If he wins, it might be 8 years. Neither one are going to stray from the party line, but they certainly aren't in the ranks of "ardent" Obama supporters.
I personally think if Obama were to think about ditching Biden (and I really don't think he is) and asked Hillary about it, I think she would tell him in no uncertain terms to take a hike. We would never know that publically of course...I think he knows he messed in his nest with the Clintons. I can't see him going there, and I certainly can't see Michelle and Hillary rubbing elbows for 4 years...lol. But, like you, I could be wrong....stranger things have happened. lol.

Anita Hill lied - there were two sides to the case
Only Thomas and Hill know what really happened. When this case was ongoing I was a democrat, yet I believed Thomas. People need to read the case and decide for themsleves. Just because Anita Hill said there was sexual harrassment doesn't mean it's true. I was on jury duty for a full week for a girl who said her boyfriend raped her. With her crying on the witness stand and carrying on I believed she was. On the fifth day we were all dismissed from duty, the girl told her lawyer that he really did not rape her and she made it up because she was made at him. Please don't go by just the link below either. Do some more researching, but from what I read of this article I don't think it's leaning towards one or the other side. All I'm saying is there are two sides of the story. By your post I'm sure if he was a democrat who wasn't getting ready to look over the info about the O you would praise him as a great judge.

What I am reading is that he has been hearing that a lot of people want one, not that he's inciting them. But he is trying to get to the bottom of what it would mean and what it would be like.
Besides, what do you think a revolution is all about? A revolution is standing up to a govt of Tyranny. It is up to them (govt) whether they make it violent or not. The people need to hold them accountable for what they are doing.

Why does this upset you so? If a student had taped a pro-Bush student would you be making fun of him? I highly doubt it. This kid was concerned that he was being continually being taught a particular political viewpoint in geography class. It happened more than once. I think the kid showed a lot of courage--it wouldn't have mattered to me what his political persuasion was. He should been learning geography and not subjected to political rants on either side.

The cease fires so touted by Madeline Albright and Clinton have never been true cease fires. This is a conflict that has been going on ever since there were Jews and Arabs. Same thing we already know Clinton is guilty of, because we saw him do it.
